This review is for their custom framing department, which I sought out because I was short on time and the frame shop I’ve used in the past went out of business. I brought in my little Joe Sorren signed print, and walked to the rear of the store where I rang a buzzer for service. I was greeted by a friendly associate who popped out of the back and asked a few basic questions about what I was looking for. A word of warning– don’t expect these people to necessarily have an «eye» or work magic. She was super nice, but not really confident in making suggestions. Or doing card tricks. Or balloon animals. No really. Anyway. She showed me a variety of mat options as well as frames. They have an ok selection of frames and mats and use a color code for pricing, so if you know what your budget is, it’s easy to shop within it. I had a coupon, which made the deal pretty good, and the turn around was just about a week. Ordering supplies online and doing it myself may have been a few bucks less, probably same amount of time. but sending it to Michael’s was a value to me and I’m pleased with the result. When I picked it up there was a different associate at the counter and she said«oh yes, here is your frog.» LOL! Um ok.
