This place is great, all the food I’ve had there has been really good. Was kind of frustrated with all their changing prices, I must have started going during a transition period for them because every time I ordered, it seemed their prices increased so I would say some of the items are kind of pricey but the food is good and everyone has always been nice but because of the cost, I can not afford to go as much as I’d like.

We order from Boston Express almost once a week at my work. They are always on time with delivery. Orders are always hot and correct. Delivery person is always pleasant.

1st visit, ordered a plain cheese pizza(average, nothing special) and a steak calzone — more like an onion calzone. I know they are a cheap filler, but it was def way out of proportion.

Yesterday, for multitude of reasons, I decided to be asocial, stay in, and order pizza delivery. I have noticed Boston Express since it opened, and for whatever reason, have never stopped by or ordered previously… Although I have been interested in trying it out! I used Unilocal and ordered online. That was an easy and convenient process! The estimate was approximately 40 minutes until my pizza was scheduled to arrive, and I thought that was pretty quick. It arrived in 30 minutes, piping hot, the delivery person was quick, friendly and did not go through the antiquated process of having me sign a receipt, which was appreciated since I had an emailed receipt that included my tip and anything else would be redundant. I ordered a 16 inch with extra cheese, mushrooms and tomatoes. I was a bit worried that I would have a cheese puddle mess, but it was perfect. Tasty, tasty pizza, and as of now one of my new favorite places for delivery. Another point in Boston Express favor… Their delivery person must have used navigation and/or read my directions because he found it so easily and there was not the 2 or 3 phone calls of ‘where are you’ that I am accustomed to when ordering delivery.(My place is in a development that is confusing.) Well done. I was a happy person last night, and am looking forward to pizza leftovers for lunch today and tomorrow.

Boston Express has consistently delivered great food at reasonable prices and in good time. They are our go to place when ordering delivery. Online and phone ordering is quick and easy. I’ve had a good variety from their menu and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!

This is my first visit to this cute pizza place. I checked it out for a local event, and got to sample a number of their items. Upon first stepping in the door, I was struck by the overall look of cleanliness and spaciousness. The first thing to catch my eye was the glass wall display of the fresh pies on offering. There is also a sizable side room which might be a good space for a small party. I am not sure if they allow that room to regularly be reserved or not, but I could see a group of 25 to 30 having a party there successfully. The mild wings were crispy on the outside and, while they were a bit spicier than I would normally categorized as mild, were quite tasty. I think if they were done just a little bit more, they would have been too dry. It was borderline. As for the pizza, the crust is softer than I normally would be looking for but it is clearly made in house, ingredients were fresh and the meat lovers pizza had crispy bacon included in it which was a pleasant surprise. If I am in the area again, I will definitely be back to see what other offerings they have on hand.

Great mom n pop pizza joint with solid wings encased in a crispy exterior with tender meat inside. I’m so glad I came to Boston express after having it bookmarked for so The Wings: FAB! It is fried just so, that it almost feels like it has breadding with a lovely coat of sauce. As a grazer, I allowed my wings to sit out and get cold, they STILL maintained a great flavor! The Pie: The dough was great! It was a delish as a freshly baked ciabatta roll. Good crunch outside, nice and soft on the inside. The sauce was boss, the cheese ratio was great and the variety of toppings offered was great. My suggestion, hold the onions on your pizza though. Though thankful that they are using the freshest ingredients, you may get an overload of raw onions on a slice or two. That was my only gripe on the toppings. The service: Hot pizza pie, made to order, and a genuine smile. Makes everything taste extra yummy! Personally I am a bigger fan of New York Style pizza(my hometown) so I missed that in this pie… however it WAS still a GREAT pie. In my opinion it kicks the rears of many pizza places in the area.

I am a true pizza lover! This was our first time to Boston Express and it won’t be our last. We came as part of a local Unilocal event. I was able to eat a piece of meat lovers pizza and a piece of pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni pizza was good. The meat lovers pizza was Outstanding! While meat lover pizza’s can be very greasy, this one was not. The meats were fresh and the pizza was cooked just the right amount of time. They sell pizza by the slice or whole pie. We saw quite a few people picking up take out while we were there. Overall a very good experience! Looking forward to coming back!

I will never order here again. Ordered for online delivery on a Thursday night at 7pm(after prime hours) and it took over an hour for delivery. Never received a confirmation email that was promised when we ordered. Called multiple times and was told it was out for delivery when we only live less than 5 minutes away. Boston express has convenient hours for late night and weekends but I would rather give my money to a different mom and pop type shop if this is the service I am going to learn to expect after their renovations.

I’ve eaten a large portion of their menu to date. Each time I’ve been treated to a good solid effort. The large Boli/Calzone’s are huge and perfectly cooked. Their gyros are tasty with tender meat. Even the chicken tenders were moist and fries crisp. They don’t strive to be fancy, but they end up providing really good value for the money and will remain my standby when I’m in a pinch.

Went to this so called restaurant at the posted hours of operation and they were closed, when I inquired as to why they only shrugged… Went back earlier the next day ordered the Gyro platter which consisted of a gyro and fries. The Gyro was of their own interpretation, meaning it was not a gyro in any way Greek, the meat was unknown in texture and flavor the bread wrapper was stale and flavorless and the onions strong and biting, the yogurt sauce was something that was not yogurt, but was going bad. The fries were cold and greasy as well as hard. Being that this was takeout I could not complain and get resolution, so we will never go back.

Just moved to area and wanted a good go to pizza place. I’m not really a fan of the chain pizza shops like Pizza Hut, Domino’s, etc. searching Unilocal brought me to this place and it’s only a few minutes from my house. Thanks to Anthony S. for that detailed review. I’ll keep it simple. All I got was a large cheese pizza, my favorite. It was very very good. They are $ 6.99 on Mondays and Tuesdays. I’m not a pizza connoisseur but this place is 10x better than the overly popular Pizza Grille just down the road. I will adventure the rest of the menu in due time and post updates but if you’re in the area please give this little place a try you won’t regret it. Delivery and ordering online is a nice bonus. Fairly priced, friendly staff.

This is an update to the review that I just posted 2 days ago. As a brief synopsis of my previous review: I have been travelling around the Camp Hill area on weekends grabbing a slice of pizza for lunch the last couple of weeks in search for my new favorite pizza joint. This past weekend, on 3/7, I stopped-in at Boston Express to try their pie, and was thoroughly impressed. Because of this, I stopped back and ordered everything fresh — instead of getting a re-heated slice from their case. I did so on 3⁄10. Food: As I suspected, the fresh product was far superior. When I opened the box and saw the pizza, I just knew. This is an authentic NY-style pizza, through-and-through. The dough is amazing, and likely the best I have ever had. The sauce goes up one point because it much more thoroughly complements the fresh product by enhancing the dough and the cheese magnificently. Lastly, the cheese was significantly better on the fresh pizza. It had golden-brown pockets of bubbliness, that had fully-developed flavor bursting in every bite. The cheese is bumped-up to a 5. This is one of the best pizzas I have ever had in my life. Wings: As I mentioned in my previous review, when I try an new pizza place, it is equally as imperative for them to serve outstanding wings alongside great pizza. I have even been known to dine at a place with inferior pizza, just so that I could get decent pizza and wings together, because for me, pizza and wings go together like peanut butter and jelly… spaghetti and meatballs… or even lamb and tuna fish(Big Daddy reference). I ordered them mild, and it was nice to see them come out of the fryer fresh, and then get shaken in a homemade sauce. So many other pizza places just grab the industrial-sized bottle of Frank’s and dump that in. This place makes their own mild buffalo sauce, and it is perfect. Not too vinegary, not too hot, and not too buttery. It is balanced just-right, and coated the wing perfectly. Mild Buffalo Sauce: 5⁄5 In addition to a great sauce, it is imperative that my wings be crispy… but not over-cooked to the point of dryness or toughness. Again, this was executed perfectly. The wings had a nice, crisp outer-skin, but a juicy and tender inner-meat. This was a wing that was cooked to perfection. Texture: 5⁄5 Blue Cheese: For me, the blue cheese is equally as important as the wing. Too many places just slap-out any blue cheese and think that it pairs well with their wings. Well, they are completely wrong. The blue cheese(or ranch if you are into that sort of thing) is there to enhance flavor and add a layer of creaminess and funkiness to the wing. This blue cheese is not the best I have ever had(Buffalo Wings & Rings), but it pairs with this wing perfectly. It is creamy, thick, and has great blue cheese flavor. Not only that, but the flavor helps elevate the wing to a whole new level. Blue Cheese: 5⁄5 Wings: 5⁄5 Overall Food: A solid 5⁄5 all-around. This is extremely rare for me… Service: If you read my previous review, you may have noted that I wasn’t all that jazzed about the service, but it was decent enough to get a 3. This time was much better. There was a guy behind the counter who was super-friendly, and had a hop-in-his-step. This is hard to describe. He wasn’t frantic(like so many restaurant employees are). He had a calmness about him like he had everything under control, but he was moving-around very quickly to satisfy all of the guests. This didn’t prevent him from smiling and being polite. Lastly, it is important to note that they have an online ordering service. This is amazingly convenient for me, and I used it so that I could pick up my order on my way home from work. Not only was the order ready exactly on time; but they also successfully executed my special request(extra crispy wings). This, plus the above-average friendly service made the experience much better. Service: 5⁄5(4⁄5 +1 for the online ordering) Atmosphere: See previous review(4⁄5) Price: For an extra large, 18″ pizza that is among the best I have ever had, and 10 wings cooked to perfection, the $ 19 I paid was well worth it. Though, I will seek to use some of the coupons they have the next time I order. I was unaware of the coupons in their menu, and probably could have gotten more food for a better price. Despite that though, this was well-worth the price, and I would likely pay more for this meal. Price: 4⁄5 Final Thoughts: The search is over! This is definitively my new pizza place. Now, this doesn’t mean that I will not try other places in the area if I am out-and-about. There is a potential that Boston Express could get de-throned; but based on my experience on 3/10, this is highly-unlikely. If you want authentic, NY-style pizza, cooked to perfection, and is easily one of the best pizza and wing combos that I have had in the country(across my many travels) … then you need to eat here!

Great food. Seems a step above your typical pizza place. My favorites so far are the lamb gyro and the buffalo wings. I have the place on speed dial when ordering delivery.

Yummy food! Good customer service! Everything I’ve had I have enjoyed. Strombolis are ginormous and not cheap with the fillings, I’ve had the Italian and steak and cheese. I’ve had the pizza, salads and even the wings. Everything is always fresh and delivery is prompt. Recent delivery did not include a salad dressing so I called and one was promptly delivered along with a fresh order of delicious wings! I thought that was a good touch :) They will keep me as a customer with that kind of customer service and ofcourse good food.

These guys are a well-received addition to the area, as you can never have enough pizza options. Their menu even features gyros’, not overflowing with meat, with a ton of lettuce and tomato but a good sandwich nonetheless. The hoagies on the other hand are jam-packed with whatever goodness you go for. Calzones are also massive to say the least, perfect for a game day throwdown. Delivery is pretty quick and friendly as could be, all the more reason to patronize these folks.

I ate here for the first time today. I met the owners and workers. They were friendly and helpful. The food was really good. What’s cool about this place is you can get good Italian food here like manicotti and buy other things at the convenience store part of the place. This saves you two trips of having to go somewhere else. I feel like the prices are very fair. They have a good amount of places to sit so bring all of your friends for a nice atmosphere, a tv to watch and enjoy some good food. The decent prices are worth coming bye another time to try maybe a pizza a sub or ravioli. If you have a craving for a soup I suggest the vegetable soup. It was very good. If you go past the road on the left of a diner by big lots you will see the convenience store and italian place not much further on Simpson ferry road.
