Andrea F. at Franklyn Studio is fantastic! She listens to exactly what you want your hair to do and then makes it happen. They have Aveeda and Moroccon Oil Products and a nice atmosphere(although I don’t like the new paint job).

This place is over-priced and does not live up to the hype. I have curly hair and asked to see someone who specializes in giving curly hair cuts. They gave me to a young British girl(whose name I can’t remember) who said she also worked in Dubai for a period of time. She was very sweet BUT I asked for a sholder-length, business-type haircut, whcih she did not deliver. My hair was a hot mess when she was done with it. I had a mullet, a curly-haired mullet. This would have been fine if I was a Euro-hipster or if I was into A.C.Slater, but i’m a business person! I had an important meeting the next day, so when I got home I had to have my husband(who was freaking out!) cut the back off. So, at the end of the day, I was out $ 65 for the cut and $ 15 for the bottle of wine my husband had to drink to get up the nerve to cut my hair. I wouldn’t go back and would not suggest you go!

for charging NYC prices to color hair, you think they would do it right to uphold their supposedly Best of Harrisburg salon distinction. No dice. Not worth the big bucks.
