What a WONDERFUL environment!!! Peaceful, serene, just what I needed!!! I was referred to Nanette by a friend and boy does she know skin care!!! I have suffered with mysterious breakouts for years and no one has taken the time to explain to me what acne is and how you can treat it… until now!!! She would only let me buy a few things to make sure they work before we try anything else! And of course, I booked with her again for next month!!:)

I’ve been a long-​standing client of About Face Skin Care. You can read my original post from 2013. What I wanted to add is that under Nanette’s care my aging skin has remarkably improved to the point where after a facial treatment, I can go 4 to 5 weeks without having to wear makeup. My skin looks that good! This has simplified my mourning routine, and I love that I can just get up and go in the mornings. Nanette is serious about skin care and it shows on all her clients faces! As some who has actually been there, and not someone just writing a nasty review for sport, the place is wonderful. It’s an incredibly peaceful environment. Everyone I’ve come across, including other clients are kind and friendly. Nanette is amazing, she has kept my skin perfect for years. She cleared up my husband’s Rosacea and all my friends continue to go back. This is a great place. None of us would keep coming back if it wasn’t. Give them a call and check it out.

Looks like no one else is there most of the time. Business looks empty as if they’re closing down. The place seems to have the constant stench. Not a very warm or inviting space. If you’re cashing out your groupons, it’s worth only for the deals if you’re just in and out. I think the very large older woman is the owner. Not a pleasant woman. She does not seem like a happy person. Wrong business to be in.

I’ve been seeing Nanette for years and she is the ONLY person I trust with my skin. She has taken great care of me over the years, introducing me to the right products for my skin and giving me incredible treatments. I recently went to her with a terrible itchy red rash on my face that even the dermatologist could not fix. After only 2 visits, it’s nearly gone. Nanette will take great care of you!

Super good treatment! You really get your money’s worth, Nanette is super clever and knows just how to help you. I can really recommend booking an appointment with her.

I can’t even begin to describe the great help that Nanette provides. As a guy, I wasn’t originally enthused about a facial my wife bought me, but Nanette proved to be an incredibly valuable ally for skin control. I’ve struggled with acne off and on for 15 years, and she was the first that ever let me know about the internal drivers of acne. She ended up setting me up with a doctor who was able to diagnose some allergies and digestive problems I have and make significant progress on my acne for the first time in over a decade. Besides that, she developed a wonderful skin régime (a term I learned for the first time from Nanette) that has done a great job of clearing up and controlling my outbreaks. I would recommend Nanette to anyone, over a dermatologist any day!

I love when people ask me how old I am now that I have been going to Nanette at About Face for a few years now because my skin is clearer and more youthful-​looking than it was pre-​Nanette. I trust I will get good service, and I love the products that Nanette sells because she focuses on good skin care more than she does on making a buck.

Nanette doesn’t mince words and is passionate about helping women with their skin –that’s what I found out in about the first 10 minutes of our meeting. We talked about my skin and it’s um, 54^th generation viking (?) redness and of course the onset of age. Bleh! So she set up some concoctions and went to work. About an hour later I emerge with much much better color (than I’ve seen in forever) and my skin is soft as a baby’s arse. Don’t expect 10 Buddhas lying around the place, don’t expect an expensive water feature and lotus painted on the walls, as the other reviews say — this is not THAT kind of place, however I left with much better skin, feeling totally relaxed and much more knowledgeable. And I also agree with other reviews, she is not there to push products –refreshing right? I’ll be back :)

i already wrote a review for Nanette with my past experience at Kayaa Spa located in Campbell, but wanted to give her credit for her own establishment, About Face.
Nanette is extremely pleasant and charming, is very honest about her practice, and is only in this business to help people with their skin, as she has fought it herself when she was younger. I like how I could be honest about the cheap-​o products I use, and not be judged, and she would recommend things in that range. She’s also not pushy like other esthetchians, that when I walked out, she had no products lined up for me, and it was ME asking her for the sample she used during my facial!
Had an enzyme facial, which was made with barley, but also had a vitamin C and hydrating mask as well. she also did extractions, and they were quite painful, but when are they never? She also popped this pimple I had forever, which I was totally grateful for.
I was extremely relaxed during the facial, almost fell asleep. why the minus one star? my favorite part of facials is the neck/​shoulder massage, which I did not receive, but not sure if it’s because it was part of a groupon?

I had a facial by Nanette and it was amazing. I felt so pampered and it was reasonably priced. The place was immaculate. She gave me long term advice to do with my skin care. I highly recommend her!

What a great place: Had a facial done Nanette, it was awesome. She is extremely knowledgeable and definitely knows her stuff. Did not put down my current regimen but gave me some sound advice to supplement. Was very service oriented and did not push her own products which some other salons do. I will be back :)

I have had 1,000’s of facials. Nanette is the first and only one to know skin care, do what was best for my skin, not her pocketbook, and didn’t push product I didn’t need.
I have never felt so pampered, informed, and left knowing she is the only skin care specialist from here on out that I will let touch my face anymore!
You must go. She has the right spirit, heart and knowledge every woman over 50 wants to know!!!
