This guy… I cannot even believe he is employed and making as much money as he is… honestly he is the type of guy that makes people get on medication. I felt uncomfortable with him since the very first session. I think he thinks he is trying to be pleasant with all the small talk, but it is way too much, he is so creepy. I have been to maybe ten appointments total, and it’s only because it was difficult to find a therapist that takes insurance. So I am a 21 year old female, and attention all females, DONOT go to him. I would attend these appointments with my mother and he would still make extremely inappropriate jokes, which would get even worse when she’d leave the room to use the bathroom. I will never forget some of the things he said. As a psychiatrist you should be trustworthy so your patients trust you with their deepest issues, but he made everything so awkward. Imagine now that I had to tell him that Zoloft, an anti anxiety medication, took away my sex drive. Just picture that, with how I just described him. It was awful, he made the most disgusting jokes following my request to switch medications… Of course I got new one, but he was so unprofessional about it. I would never in my life recommend him. His office is a(very strange) mess with stuffed gorillas everywhere. My mom and I asked why he had them and this is what he said, «I use the gorillas to get the children to open up to me. Although sometimes the gorillas say things I’d never say,» and then he proceeded to say sexually, «bad gorilla…». Can you even. Wait I’m not even done. One time, in one 30 minute session, he sang to my mom and I three different times, three different songs. For what reason in life would a psychiatrist ever sing to their patients? I’ll let you think about that one. Now to get graphic with you. This actual conversation took place when my mother left the room for five minutes. Bruce was telling me that it’s common for these drugs to effect sexuality and proceeded to tell me of a girlfriend of his client that begged Bruce to never take her boyfriend off of his antidepressant because it made his«last» for an insanely long time. He proceeded to say, «women just love it it because he can just keep going and going until his stick turns blue and then he has to get it cut off.» At that point I stopped laughing out of courtesy and felt extremely uncomfortable. Everything about his appearance and behavior makes me uncomfortable. He is like that one creepy neighbor that stares at you just a little too long when you pass by jogging. I hope he gets a thorough background check one of these days. He is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Absolutely no one should give him business. This is my way of trying to save anyone from any potential sexual harassment and abuse.

I was referred to Dr W several years ago after getting a major health diagnosis. He helped me sort out my life and relationships and I couldn’t be happier or healthier now.

Bruce has been my psych doc for about a year now. He is compassionate and has the greatest sense of humor. If you are in need of a good doc for med checkups(pediatric and adult), he’s the man to go to.
