Campbell Community Center – Swim Lessons

This is a review purely for the mother & baby swim lessons. Sure, it’s economical at $ 55 for 4 lessons, but it seemed like basically a useless «class» and a complete waste of time. First off, the water is F-​freeeeeezing for the little ones! 80 degrees for an outdoor pool just doesn’t cut it for the babies and toddlers. Literally every single kid in the class had blue lips and they were chattering and shaking from the cold. Second, there is really no instruction to speak of whatsoever. Not even a single organized song or little course around the pool with toys, or anything! I basically arrived with my kid, played in the water for 45 minutes, and left. And usually early at that since he was freezing his little heiny off! Once in a while the teacher would come by and take my son around the pool for a couple of minutes, but that was it. Lastly, just 4 days of classes don’t really accomplish that much in the scheme of things, and I think the kids would benefit from 2 – 3 times a week for a few weeks instead of just 4 days in a row.
