Campbell Landscape was recommended by my landscape architect and they completed hardscape, arbor and softscape with perfection. Sam was always prompt in answering back and provided very reasonable quotes that were detailed with each line item in addition to being extremely patient with all of the queries we had going into a big remodel.
We had to break down the project into smaller parts, adjust the scope etc. and Sam worked with us to accommodate such requests and advised on the right ordering to ensure we can utilize his crew efficiently. Campbell Landscape had to clear the yard, construct a paver patio, custom arbor and necessary hardscape for the planting areas and walkways.
They had to come back for the irrigation, soil prep and planting. Each of these were executed by a crew that was punctual and very professional. I have dealt with many contractors, but Sam really gets to know his clients and customizes solutions for them and is extremely trustworthy. They even saved me $$$ by advising on some lower cost DIY options instead of breaking existing concrete in some places and charging me. It does not get much better… We had a great experience and Campbell Landscape has provided us a great outdoor space. Highly recommend Campbell Landscape and Sam if you are looking for a reasonable and trustworthy team.

The minute Campbell Landscape arrived at our front door I know we were in for a special experience. The owner, Sam Tarverdi, is a very warm and friendly gentleman. Campbell Landscape was one of three landscape and design contractors I had contacted to make our dream backyard a reality. Being a General Contractor myself, I knew I needed to hire someone I could trust, who would believe in our dream, and provide us with the quality and service this project would demand. Sam, Campbell Landscape, was all that and more. And although he was not the least expensive, I truly believe that the marginal difference in cost far out weighed the headache and grief we surely would have realized with a lesser contractor.
Like any custom design project, there would be perceived impediments and challenges along the way; this project would be no different. That stated, Sam was forthright and prepared to discuss options when these potentially difficult moments arose. He had a great way about him and brought a real sense of calm and came prepared with options for resolution. Having dealt with many contractors that were confrontational and/​or irate this was truly a welcome and appreciated skill set.
The bottom line is not only did Sam and the Campbell Landscape crew provide us with the backyard of our dreams; they did it in a way that was satisfying and fulfilling. I would highly recommend Sam and Campbell Landscape to anyone looking to make their dream landscape a reality.
