H&H Development Window Coverings

I was shopping around for window blinds before moving into a newly constructed townhome and Unilocal pointed me to JM Wheeler (
). Unfortunately, when I emailed them to schedule an in-​home consultation in late November, Michele promptly responded and told me that they were book until mid-​January. She suggested that I reach out to Jerry @ H&H 408−406−2937 or Chris @ South Bay Blinds 408−883−5510 and that’s how I found Jerry.
For the 16 windows in my home, I decided to go with white faux wood blinds. Below are the quotes I got:
* Jerry @ H&H quoted me $ 1829 (inclusive of material, installation, and tax) for 2″ Hunter Douglas Renditions faux wood blinds. Estimated lead time between 7 – 10 days.
* Chris @ South Bay Blinds (
) quoted me $ 2795 for the same Hunter Douglas faux wood blinds. Estimated lead time of 2 weeks.
* Ken @ Budget Blinds (
) quoted me $ 1961 for an almost identical product (without the HD brand name). Estimated lead time about 3 weeks out.
Clearly, going with H&H was an easy choice because Jerry was able to (1) get me the best pricing, (2) provide the HD brand I wanted — even though all three companies told me how unneccesary that was — and (3) offer the quickest turnaround time! Of the three companies, he was also the only one that agreed to do matching faux wood blinds on my patio door. Because the handle to the patio door would sort of crowd the blinds, the other two companies suggested lower-​profile roman shades or frosting the glass, even after I told them how much I wanted EVERYTHING to match.
All in all, Jerry came out for 30 mins to measure for a quote, 30 mins again a few days later to measure more precisely before placing an order for the blinds, and John came out for 3 hours to install. Easy peasy AND I saved money.

They were also very responsive when it turned out that a couple of the shades had minor problems. They immediately replaced them. We love the window shades and were happy with the whole experience.

Jerry’s pricing for Hunter Douglas honeycomb shades are significantly cheaper than all the other places I looked at. He is very flexible and accommodating, and he knows his stuff. It was a very painless process. Everything was installed in a timely fashion, and I am very pleased with the final product. I highly recommend!

I found Jerry by chance. When my husband and I bought a new townhouse 3 years ago, we couldn’t figure out what to do with all our windows. We had Christmas wrapping paper on our bathroom windows until we found Jerry.
