Remember the 80’s? I do. Did you play ball? I did. This was one of those joints we went to as kids to have end of the year,’ you finished the season and your parents paid way to much based on your skill level’ parties! Man, it had a cigarette vending machine when I was just learning the olé,‘change up’. It has and still has the pool tables, janky jukebox(the real one), cardboard cut outs of beer slang in’ ladies in lederhosen, a funky smell, bad lighting, classic arcade video games and terrible service. Nothing has changed! The angry owner taking the orders from strangers kids whom he clearly despises? That guy. No refund in the recently updated POS jukebox and you’re ******** daisies if you think you won’t pay for that refill or expect a replacement of the letters from the dimly lit menu above. YET, there’s a nostalgic atmosphere that one cannot deny admiration for AND they make a mean pizza sandwich/pizza! I don’t know how they stay opened but I can say, I’m glad they do. They keep the 80’s pizza joint alive and the food is worth tolerating invalidating/nullifying service from behind the counter. They aren’t nice but they make some mean bar food and keep LG nostalgic. I’ll give ‘em that.

This place just has consistently good pizza. I live in Santa Cruz but work in San Jose and if while on my way home I ever feel like pizza this is my stop. Pep and salami is the best in my opinion.

The BEST pizza in town! I tried many places in the Bay Area and the quality of fresh ingredients, toppings and no substitutes, this place can’t be beat. Very friendly and nice atmosphere. Big bar with lots of tables, and perfect for families. I personalize my pizza every time. I love the Mexicana loaded with lots of jalepeno peppers with extra mushrooms and done extra crispy. Mo always makes my personalized pizza done right every time.

This review is based solely on the pizza. Fresh ingredients and crisp yet a tiny bit chewy crust is amazing.

«Mediocre» is the first word that comes to mind. It gets the job done when you want pizza. That said, the cheese is bland, the pepperoni pizza we got was greasy, and the chicken garlic pizza had far too much garlic in it. Obviously it’s supposed to be a feature of the dish, but the reality was that it overpowered all of the other flavors. It wasn’t bad pizza, but it certainly wasn’t anything I would recommend. I’ll stick with T-Bird’s a few miles down the street.

I wanted to place a big order and I decided to walk in two guys were there. One was sitting at the bar and the other guy I assume the owner or worker behind the bar. rudely said they were closed. Well why would you have your door open with the open sign light up. I wanted to order 3 large pizzas for later for a group of people Well I will not be going here after all the high reviews not worth it.

Basic Pizza, not my style, maybe we got a bad one? The sauce was blah, the crust flavorless and thick, toppings ok, cheese eh. Probably my fault– I want fresh sauce, chewy thin crust, fresh motz and fresh toppings. This was basic American take out style Pizza, no flavor at all a frozen Pizza from your grocery store would do the same thing and cost you a fraction of the price.

Cheap ass owner!!! Who charges 80 cents for your first refill on a drink. The beer is over priced. There restrooms are disgusting, looks like no one ever cleans them. He turns off all the arcade games to save energy, not kid friendly. He charges you for every little thing you as for. Besides all the the pizza is good, but overpriced. I will not be back!

I was searching for a new pizza place near work. I looked on my Unilocal site to see what is out there from wonderful reviewers. I saw the two pictures of this place and they looked pretty good. I called to see if they deliver. This girl likes her pizza so I was all excited and happier when I called I asked if they deliver and the guy on the phone said, «Yes We Deliver, now HURRYUP and tell me your order!». I WASSHOCKED! BIGMISTAKE!(Michelle’s enthusiasm went from a 10 to 1 is less than a second) I said, «What did you say to me?» he said, «I have Pizza’s in the oven so hurry and place your order!» I said, «AREYOUKIDDINGME? WHATCUSTOMERSERVICE is that HURRYUPANDORDER. I was all happy and excited to try your place and you tell me to HURRYUP! You do not have to be rude!» He said, «TELLMEYOURORDER, I HAVEPIZZA’S INTHEOVEN!»(Michelle exhales with a deep breathe, trying to compose herself). «YOUDONOTTALKTOANYONELIKETHAT! How RUDE can you be but considering the source, I can imagine.» He was still talking loud as I hung up. SMH… Who is next…

Owner said they were closed before their posted store hours on Unilocal, but then opened it and said they were only doing take outs. They don’t care about giving you the best customer experience and all they want is your money. Food 8⁄10

Make no mistake, this IS the best pizza place in the bay area. Not only will the facility give you that nostalgic pizza parlor feel, but the pizza itself will be better than any other you’ve ever had. What’s better than a pitcher of ice cold beer and amazing pizza? NOTHING. If you’re into sports, they usually have the most popular game on the big screen as well. Play a little pool while you’re waiting or after your meal, it’s a great hang out spot. Again, I can’t stress it enough, this pizza is AMAZING!

Thursday June 4th, my son and I were working on a Friends house when we ordered a pizza for delivery, and after giving him the address, he said if he got lost, he would call. He never called or showed up, and when we went in, he offered no apologies. I do not recommend pizza here if you want delivery.

Jacky Boy’s is approximately 2 blocks from the Garrett Station. Truly, I do not know why anyone goes to Garrett instead: The pizza at The Garrett Station is… Well… just OK. Jacky Boy’s pizza is way better, less expensive, and ready immediately(plus we can play pool(;)

Surprisingly delicious pizza! Thin crust, generous fresh toppings, and ooey-gooey cheese. What more can you ask for? Upon first glance I was definitely having my doubts(empty and dark inside aside from one man eating pork rinds at bar area) but decided to look past the décor. The tables and bar area themselves are very clean and the man serving us was friendly. We ordered a large pizza with half Italian Combination and half Garlic Chicken, and a few Lagunitas. The total came out to about $ 37 which is a bit expensive due to the beer($ 5 a glass). The wait wasn’t too long and when it came out I was wowed! The pizza looked beautiful, the toppings weren’t skimped on ATALL. I have to say the garlic chicken was my favorite, but they were both very good. We polished it off in record speed. Next time we come I will take it to go as the ambiance is really the only thing I didn’t like about this place. Other than that, the pizza was fantastic!

I have ordered pizza for delivery here twice now, and I didn’t write a review for the pizza the first time… back then I ordered a Large Pepperoni, Mushroom, and Black Olive pizza and I decided on a Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza today. Somehow I remember the first pizza being better than this one I ordered today… don’t get me wrong there was nothing with the taste, as far as taste goes this place is top-notch but for the pizza I ordered I felt they skimped on the toppings and that they definitely overcharged me. I paid exactly $ 25 for this pizza and 2-liter Coke, and I hope the difference in price went to pay for the gas of the delivery driver cos I sure didn’t want to leave him a tip after the sticker shock of eating at this place. I had read the other reviews of this place the first time around and wanted to give them another try. Now that I’ve tried them this SECOND time sadly I don’t think I’ll be ordering here again. I’ll stick to my local Round Table Pizza where I know I’ll pay through the nose but for TOPPINGSGALORE… so that’s that.

Its not bad, but it’s not great. I walked in and I immediately was turned off by a weird old smell. The décor is really outdated and old too. The whole place just screams old and ran down. My husband has been coming here since he was a kid though and said the pizza will make up for it. And its not bad. Definitely have had better, but its good. I enjoyed it. Got a gourmet veggie. The crust is a little eh, but the veggies are spot on. The hospitality is pretty good. Just a really chill down to earth place. Has a bar, but not much to speak of. Maybe I have to be there on a weekend instead of weeknight.
