I had Lawrence put in my hardwood floors recently. I went to more than eight different flooring retailers and found them to have the best price for a quality product. Their service has been exceptional. We had a few very minor issues and they corrected them promptly and at our convenience. They are extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. I would strongly recommend Lawrence Furnishings if you are looking for a quality installed hardwood floor.

Most of their staff has been there a long time (a sign of a good company) and they remember their customers when they come back in. They are also very accommodating in letting you check out swatches, samples, and books so that you can visualize them in your home before making your final selections. I have been very pleased with everything we have done over the years with Lawrence Furnishing. Additionally, the owners, Larry and Mike Goldberg, are great guys and usually one of them is in the showroom to greet you.

Old school sales and super knowledgeable guy who will help you get whatever piece of furniture you need, way cheaper! Delivered, assembled, whatever… Mr. Goldberg has been doing this for 55 years and used to have another furniture business on San Carlos. Have Larry whip out his third grade class photo where he will share his 15 minutes of fame with you as he attended third grade with Johnny Carson and will tell ya all about it! LOL.
I went to Breuners,(now defunct) and found a few pieces of living room furniture larry was able to scored me for exactly half price and still make enough profit to fill up his Mercedes he parks two blocks away so you don’t know he is successful! :) .(I have joked with him about this from time to time. I highly recommend this place and Larry… customer service folks are friendly and helpful as well!

I can’t imagine going anywhere else for carpeting and fabric! Tremendous selection, honest and knowledgeable staff, great service. I’m ordering carpet from Lawrence for the third time in 25 years… that should tell you something. Even my general contractor can’t beat their selection or pricing.

We purchased a beautiful product (bathroom vinyl tiles that look like stone) and had it installed with this company. Although I’m satisfied with the product, I was extremely underwhelmed by the customer service, follow-​up, and installation, and in the future, will definitely try to find another distributor. We dealt mostly with Marco, who is quite unfriendly overall. Once we were ready to make the final purchase, the product took forever to get as it was apparently out of stock. During this time, the owner Mark did call myself as well as our contractor to warn us about the delay. The contractor asked if he could go ahead and install the toilets while we were waiting for the tiles, and Mark said to go ahead, because the toilets could be removed and reinstalled by them without a problem when the tiles finally came in. When I called back about 2 months later to inquire about the status of the tiles, Marco failed to return my call, but I was notified by the office that the material was ready. Not sure when it actually became ready, but I wonder if they would have ever called to let me know?! As for the installation, Marco said he had not been notified by Mark that there would be toilets in place, and refused to authorize the installers to replace the toilets when they were done installing the tile. Apparently, the installers only had enough supplies to replace 1 of the toilets, so after I complained to Marco, he agreed that they would replace 1 of the toilets. Turns out they never did do this, and Marco was unwilling to have them come back to finish the job because he would have to pay them extra. Not a huge deal, but when a promise is made, it should be kept, especially since the owner Mark told both myself and the contractor that they would remove and replace the toilets at the time of installation.

I have been doing business with Lawrence Contract Furnishers for over 20 years. I have purchased furniture, window coverings and flooring from them as well as fabric and carpeting. They are very nice people and have always given me excellent service. If I ever remodel my home again, I definitely will be going back to them. Their prices are very competitive.

We went to Lawrence Contract Furnishers because it was time to get new carpets after years of dogs and kids. My husband had a certain color and type in mind, and after describing it to Mark and Mike, they suggested several possibilities that were exactly what we were looking for. They have a great selection and an excellent knowledge of carpets, so the decision was easy to make.
We just got the carpets installed today and everything looks fantastic. The crew arrived right on time, and very kindly helped us move the rest of the furniture out of the way because we were slow in the morning (we had told them we would move the furniture out). When the installation was done they moved everything back. We are really pleased with the quality of the carpet and the professional installation. The installing crew, headed by Anthony, has been friendly and professional. Even though its only 3 days before Christmas, I’m not stressed at all as everything went according to plan and everything is back in its place — with brand new, high quality carpet.

Terrific prices on flooring, furniture, and blinds. We have been really happy with *everything* we purchased at Lawrence and look forward to going back to buy even more blinds!

So far, we have made two great purchases with Lawrence Contract — a fabulous RC Hunter sectional and thick yet soft Coronation carpeting. I have nothing but praises for our sales people, Shireen and Mark. I had to subtract one star when I ended up with two carpet seams in the walkway which could have been avoided with better layout. I asked and received a letter from Lawrence Contract, guaranteeing these two seams beyond the one year installation warranty. I would highly recommend. Heck, I am already shopping at Lawrence Contract for another piece of furniture. I will be sure to update my review after I make my next purchase,

AWFUL service! Horrible customer service. They lost out on a big sale by treating us like we were not good enough to be there and helping other customers who came in after us. since they «had purchased from them before.» Would not recommend and will not be back.

We were upset at first, because the carpet we ordered turned out to be not good quality when it was laid down. Some loops were pulling out, and the dogs destroyed it only 2 hours after installation. The pad was excellent. Luckily we purchased a SHAW carpet brand that had a 30 day satisfaction gaurantee. Marco was great, he put up with us, but we had to get a different carpet. We ordered a different type, asked Marco for a different installation crew, and when it was all finished, it looked GREAT! We are very pleased with Lawrence Contractors for going the extra mile to make sure we were happy and that we had a good carpet.

Poor, poor customer service.
We had Lawrence Contract Furnishers install carpet in 2005. The carpet itself has held up fine. However, the carpet needs to be re-​stretched. We’ve placed multiple calls to L.C.F. to have them come out to re-​stretch. We are more than willing to pay whatever cost is associated but they refuse to set up an appointment or even return calls.
UPDATE
We finally got them to come out and stretch the carpet. It looks brand new.
