Malai made it nearly impossible for me to return back to work after having the best facial, wax and upper body massage ever! This was all wrapped into a 1hr 30 min facial session. My experience was 5 stars all the way from the beauty of the Pruneyard location, to the gorgeous salon, to her always warm welcome and the best facial ever.
Just as all the other reviewers have explained, the calming room, aroma products, her massage technique and choice of music were all the things that still linger happily in my mind.
I walked out with just the right amount of products to keep my skin looking its best. FYI — no pressure to buy.

I’ve been going to Malai for facials for six months now, first at her home and now at Salon Rache. I have combination skin, adult acne, rosacea… and I’m over 40, so my skin is generally getting dry and wrinkly. After years of treatment by a dermatologist, I have seen more improvement in six months with Malai. She uses the right combination of products and treatments to keep my skin as calm and clear as it’s willing to get. She uses different products and treatments depending on the season and the condition my skin is in, and she definitely knows the right ones to pick. The daily-​use products I’ve gotten from her also help to keep the acne flare-​ups to a minimum – without drying my skin out or turning it red. Besides a regular facial, I’ve gotten waxing done and light therapy, and I’ve been happy with everything so far.
Malai’s room at Salon Rache is comfortable and pretty. She chooses great background music. I always feel very relaxed after a facial with her, both due to the environment and the neck and arm massage included during the facial. Malai herself is very warm, friendly, and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend Malai to anyone seeking a relaxing and helpful beauty treatment.

I love, love, love Malai and her skin care service!!! I just came back from my second facial and, man, does that girl know what she’s doing.
Her room smells awesome and the music is great. She instantly puts me at ease and I feel totally comfortable and cared for. Her products smell so nice and she applies them with massage techniques on my face, neck, and arms.
I have struggled with rosacea for the last couple years. She knows exactly what to do to make the inflammation go down and not increase any redness.
I can tell that she really cares about the health of my skin and feel very lucky to have found her.
On another note, I’ve also gone to her for waxing. And particularly on my upper lip, I’m prone to break out, but that’s never happened when she’s done it.
