Judith certainly wasn’t responsible for not saving a marriage best left unsaved. however, she showed a marked lack of energy or creativity in dealing in a very detached manner with my wife and myself. Formulaic, simple minded approach… stingy with her time. Never asked once. in 3 sessions. what it was we either liked about one another or what kept us together for 33 years. Amazing.

It’s hard to put into words just how much my life has changed since starting to work with Judy. With her support, patience, compassion and understanding I have seen changes in myself I never thought were possible.
Not gonna lie — it takes work. It takes willingness to look at yourself and want to make changes.
I’m glad I have had the chance to work with Judy. Definitely one of the smartest decisions I have ever made for myself.

I went to Judy with my boyfriend for couple’s counseling based on the 5-​star review, and we were both sorely disappointed. Judy didn’t seem to be listening to us, rather she was just thinking of questions to ask us that were not on point with what we were conveying. What really irked us is that with 5 minutes left of our session, she cut my bf off in the middle of an emotional moment and told him that she didn’t have time to let him continue. I understand that you don’t want to run over the time, but we were the last appointment of the day and we still had 5 minutes left. Then she proceeded to ask us point blank, «what do you think of me?». Eeeeks, how do we even answer that? So all in all, it was super awkward, we didn’t go back, and it was a pretty hefty bill for an initial session (many therapists waive the fee for initial sessions).

My husband and I went to Judy for premarital couples counseling. She was great! Very organized, empathic, and centered. Her office is comfortable and warm, too, with soft lighting and squishy leather couches. Judy is smart and intuitive and her suggestions are practical and effective. I highly recommend her.
