Pruneyard West

Moved into a two bedroom in October 2014. The two bedrooms are small hometowns set on two stories. The unit has 2.5 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a nice clean deck, under stairs storage (Harry Potter style!), a spacious and clean kitchen and a WASHER-​DRYER!!!
The maintenance guy lives in-​site and is EXCELLENT. He is quick, professional and polite. We recently had a pretty major plumbing issue one Sunday evening. I called the 24 hr hotline and within 20 minutes maintenance was at the door. He did what he could, then called a plumber to take over. He stayed with the plumber until he was finished than came back the next day to finish the job and schedule a full carpet cleaning.
The office staff are not on site (they are based at Brentwood Apartments) but with so much attention to detail it’s hard to believe they are not living next door!
We are planning to stay a while (as long as the rent doesn’t go up too much when our one year lease ends) I’ll keep you posted!
We are very happy here; absolutely nothing to complain about.

I moved into this complex in April of 2011. As Booke L. said, the courtyard is beautiful and well-​maintained. There is also a small pool on site as well as a laundry room. The complex has about 25 units, which is one of the reasons I like it so much – it doesn’t feel at all like an ant farm. There is covered parking for residents; guests have to find parking on the street which is sometimes easy, sometimes not – it depends on the day and time of their arrival.
Our maintenance guy lives on site and is super great at his job, works hard, and is really nice. When a unit is up for rent, a whole slew of maintenance guys and cleaners go through it with a fine-​toothed comb and shine it up like a new penny.
The location can’t be beat – walking distance to the Pruneyard, downtown Campbell, the Los Gatos Creek Trail… Whole Foods very close… proximity to Highways 17 and 85…
Pets are allowed (with some restrictions on dog breeds), and even though I’ve seen a few people with pets around, I’ve never heard a dog barking here. I haven’t met many of my neighbors, but the ones that I’ve passed to and from my car have all been very friendly.
My only complaint is that I live on the bottom floor with a tenant above me, and I can easily hear muffled sounds of the TV, vacuum, people walking around, and music. Oddly, I’ve never once heard a peep from my *next door* neighbor, but I do hear things from my above neighbor. Nothing drastic – but I definitely know he’s there! If you are sensitive to this, get a top floor unit!
