Rico really knows his stuff when it comes to garage doors! He was one time, fast, & and did a phenomenal job. I would definitely recommend!

Our garage door stopped working over Dec/​Jan. After doing some search online, I initially thought that something froze up and got stuck due to intense cold weather. So I bought 3-​in-​1 from OSH and tried it but it did not work. Then I found Rico from the Craigslist. When I called and told him about the problems with our garage door, he agreed to come home and give a free estimate. He showed up the same day evening and immediately told me what the problem was. Unfortunately, he did not have the spare parts to fix it right away. He agreed to come back the next day. We had set up a time for him to fix it but he got a flat tire on his way over to our house and could not make it as he had promised. He immediately sent me a text saying that he was stuck with a flat tire and apologized. He also genuinely offered to fix it for free though it was not his fault. He did come back the next day and fixed it in 15 – 20 min. I did pay him as he did a wonderful job. I would recommend Rico without any reservations. He is the best!!!

My garage had 2 broken springs. At first, I called a garage service company and they wanted $ 250 to replace the 2 springs (not sure if labor charge was included). That was on Sunday and the most available time they had was the following Wednesday.
I told a friend about the garage problem and he referred me to Rico.
On Monday, I called, told him the problem and he arrived at my house later that day. Within 20 minutes, the garage was repaired and even better than before! Not only that, the price he wanted was WAAAAAY cheaper than what the other company wanted!

Found Rico this morning on Craigslist. He gave me a quote over the phone and came to my house to fix a broken spring on the garage door. He told me over the phone that it was going to take 20 minutes to do the job. Well, the job took almost an hour and a half because the sheet rock in the ceiling was so close to the spring that it was difficult for him to get his hand through to unscrew all the bolts. When it was done, he lubricated the hinges and cleaned up my garage door. Extremely happy with the job and the service. And best of all, he didn’t even ask for more money due to the extra labor. Overall great guy and I would use him again in a heartbeat

I had my garage door installed last Oct. this guy forgot the insert. Took over 2 months to get him back at my house which took all but five min to put in. Then recently the door started acting up and started brushing up against the frame because Rico didn’t put any weather strips around the frame telling me it’s fine. Well now it’s scratched the door as well as the frame. I called him. He has called me back and no showed 4 appointments. Forget Rico. Go with a well known garage installers with a store and name they can back up their service. His prices are cheaper but he is completely unreliable. Oh did I mention the door I ordered isn’t even the door he installed?

Our old but reliable Craftsman garage door opener stopped working so I went to Sears to purchase a new one. I found Rico’s name on Craigslist and took a chance by calling him to install the new opener. When he arrived, he looked at my old opener and had the parts in his van to fix the opener good as new. Needless to say I made a trip back to Sears the next day to return that unneeded opener. I would HIGHLY recommend Rico. Easy to talk to and he knows what he is doing. A great professional.

I am so glad I found Rico on Craigslist. He was personable, professional, and had more than reasonable pricing. Rico was very knowledgeable and helpful. Had a problem with my garage door opener, called Rico based on reviews and location. 100% positive experience — He was able to come by same day of call. Very knowledgeable and courteous — called when he knew he was going to be late and arrived as promised. He was able to get the electrical back on track and in the end the labor cost was more than reasonable.

I found Rico’s Garage Doors on craigslist too. I was able to get an appointment the next day and Chris showed up to fix a damaged garage door at my rental property. He not only fixed it in less than an hour, but it’s probably the best shape it’s been in for years!

Had an issue with my garage and found Rico on craigslist. He was very professional on the phone and on the job as well. He called up couple of hours before the appointment to confirm if I was still on and showed up right on time. He clearly knows about garage doors and professionally completed the work. Also, his fees were very reasonable especially for the quality of work. On top of that he lubricated all the hinges, tighten screws etc on his own.
