Holiday Inn Express Campbellsville

The front desk staff was super friendly. When I got to my room, I was pleasantly surprised by the space and high ceiling. However, I’m not sure housekeeping did a great job cleaning; there was some trash on the floor, so I know they didn’t vacuum. The beds were made, but again, I got the feeling I was lying in someone’s used sheets. I checked for bugs but didn’t see any. Also, I could hear every single thing that went on in the room next to mine. I travel for work, and stay in hotels 2 – 3 nights a week, and I’ve never been in such a loud place. I guess it depends on your neighbors? I’ll probably drive the extra 30 minutes next time and stay in a Hampton, just for the sheer fact that it doesn’t feel clean here. *shiver*

I have been coming to Campbellsville since I was born (1953) but never lived here. The last few years I came and stayed with my mother who moved here. Now I stay elsewhere while dealing with her estate. This is my settled choice of hotel or motel in Campbellsville. It is easy to reach and quiet. Staff have always been pleasant to deal with.
Rooms are clean, and the coffee is okay and breakfast is adequate. You are not in Louisville or Nashville; settle down and appreciate this is a nice hotel. No big frills but perfectly nice.
Ask for a jacuzzi room perhaps. I had one last time and really enjoyed the extra pampering, though I was traveling alone.

My first time here and I was not sure after readings the reviews but not a bad hotel. It could be a little cleaner but not as bad as the other reviews make it sound. Really nice staff, breakfast was so so, nice workout room.

Housekeeping was HORRIBLE, the Asst GM Joshua was rude!!! Save your money… DON’T STAY THERE!!!

A bit expensive for a room in Campbellsville but a nice enough hotel. Talked to people from the area and this was the hands-​down top recommendation.
The hotel was clean from my experience and I would definitely stay here again if in Campbellsville.

This place should have the «Holiday Inn» brand removed. Because they are the only big hotel in town they are lax on cleanliness. My first room I had bed bugs, dead and alive in both beds. The desk clerk was apologetic and got me another room. I did not see bugs but I saw human hair in the toilet, bathtub and it did not look like the place had been vaccumed. I actually bought sheets at walmart to put on the bed and left in the middle of of my second night there. I could not sleep for the creepy crawly feeling I had. Maybe I just got the best rooms in the house. ha ha… I know I will not be staying here again, I will be driving 30 – 60 miles to nearest town to avoid this place.
