Lyons Den Golf

Couldn’t disagree more about the friendly staff. Mean spirited and impatient on the phone. Not helpful when I had questions about the layout or the details. Can’t be nice when I am buying — then I am not trying!

Short, but tight course. A beautiful layout, offers both scenic and challenging holes with some interesting risk/​reward options. Well maintained. Par 3’s are among my favorites anywhere. Good and friendly staff. 3 ½ stars.

I’m a very new golfer and cannot comment too much here on challenge, etc, but this is a well maintained course that is run by friendly people.
My dad had been trying to get me to Lyons Den for a while and I finally gave in (we had been playing about once a month at a course near Akron that was pretty bombed out). It was a lot of fun.
Not overly crowded so we could take our time and not feel rushed but not abandoned either.
At the end of this season after a quick check when setting up the tee time, we brought my 7-​year-​old son out to play 9 holes and he had a blast. He even showed me up by playing better than I did!
Definitely worth checking out and, if you do check it out and find a few dozen Calloway Warbirds out there, let me know… I’m looking for them!
