I had a few board games to sell from the 60s so I made an appointment. After reading the other reviews I was a little worried that the staff was going to be rude but they were really pleasant and friendly. The board games were all missing pieces so I didn’t hit the jackpot this time but I was amazed at the huge collection and fair pricing. I will go back

Huge selection of vintage toys. but sadly overpriced for many items you can do a reasonable search for and find cheaper on eBay. Fun store to visit and browse but I rarely buy anything

The spirit behind the Toys Time Forgot store is outstanding, however I cannot recommend this store to you. I bought one particular item and had it shipped to me. The packaging of the shipping was done so poorly that the item broke in transit. The owner did not step up and make the situation right and was very condescending in his attitude towards my issue. My recommendation is that if you were to buy from this store(1) you should only do so in person and(2) inspect the item very VERY closely.

This place is CRAZYAMAZING I don’t know why it has only 4 stars. If you’re looking for toys, statues or comics this is one place to go! Friendly and helpful Staff, answered all my questions and even went out of the way to bring me comic books up from the basement. If you don’t see it, make sure to ask them, the store is only a third of what they have. I am seeing some negative comments in here about the store, let me assure you every time I’ve been in the store they were Helpful, Friendly and made sure I had everything I was looking for. As to the price complaints, This is a collectibles store, not some shmoe selling out of his home for a quick buck. When you buy from them in person you know exactly what you’re getting! They’ve even haggled on price with me to give me a lower price, if you don’t ask them you’re losing out on what could be a great collectibles experience.

OK, you’re an adult now and feel you should spend your time sourcing gadgets, the latest phone or a new laptop. Heed my plea and advice to see this store in Canal Fulton. Over 4300 sf of toys time forgot. You are guanteed to relive fun times, Christmas mornings with fire trucks, tinker toys and Monopoly games. Row upon row, case after case of them. You just need to allow the inner child that never really leaves you to emerge and make a pleasant afternoon for yourself and/or your family. Your children will be thrilled. They are willing to appraise items for you and recommend repairs. Closed on Mondays, open at 11 am weekdays and Saturday, noon on Sunday. The rest of the the downtown is filled with quaint, charming stores of every description. Make a day of it. You’ll be glad you did.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The inventory/selection is unbelievable! However, it’s over-priced and the staff is extremely unfriendly. The day I visited, the wanna-be bouncer/security guard employee rudely asked me to put items back exactly where I originally found them, and seemed annoyed when I asked to see items from the display cases. I’m willing to give this place another chance, only because of its incredible selection.

Neat selection, but the staff was rude and suspicious. One staff member followed us the whole time, but never offered to help. My advice: use eBay. Skip this place!

Wow! When I walked in, all I could say was«wow!» If Toys Time Forgot doesn’t take you back to that«special place», I don’t know what will! I «ooo’ed» and«ahh’ed» at everything! I was impressed with their collection of lunch boxes– I personally owned three of them as a child. I am showing my age, but who cares! My daughter is 13 and loves old-school video games. She was pretty much in heaven. Tons of comics if you are into that. Oh, and the board game collection was amazing! This place is so cool– just go! You won’t be disappointed! I was fascinated at every turn! Tip– if the small parking lot is full, there is a free lot across the street!

Not too many people know this, but I am an in-closet geek. I enjoy my comic books and my vintage toys and games as much as the next true believer, so when I heard from my GF about this place my heart skipped a beat. For any true collector, this store feels like you’re at home. Cluttered but oddly gives the feeling of being organized as well. Family run, and family atmosphere, very easy to get on a first name basis with the employees! And now for the collection of merchandise… I hesitate to say more only on the grounds of I want to keep this place for myself! My goodness the selection on back issue comics is astounding, easily the Largest collection and assortment in NE Ohio(Even if it’s located in Canal Fulton!) This place is easily one of the best spots around for true comic book fans, and if you have a vintage toy from your youth that you lost or broke, give this place a shot, chances are your trip down memory lane will end with you finding the perfect vintage toy

I hesitate to write this review because I would like to keep this little gem to myself… I can’t say enough about this fascinating store. The whole building is stuffed with amazing vintage toys and comic books. I live in C-town and happily make the drive down there to peruse one of the largest(if not THE largest) collections of back issue comics for sale that I’ve ever seen. They’ve got everything! Plus, stuff I’ve never heard of. I’m a huge fan of the comic book subscription club they have too! Plus, they ship! And if they don’t have it, they’ll help you find it. But enough about comics… they’ve got toys! A huge collection of vintage toys and games from way before I was born. Vintage G.I. Joes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys, Star wars, superhero stuff, the muppets, star trek, the giant wall of monopoly, and more stuff that I cant even think of right now. If you are a collector, you need to make this pilgrimage. I love bringing people around to take a walk down memory lane. A bit cluttered, but that’s exactly how I like it. Plus, the people who work here are very nice. Family owned and operated. They know their stuff too! Prices are reasonable also. The only thing I wish I could change was their selection of fan based clothing. I wish they had more ladies comic book related apparel or at least a larger selection. But then again, its hard to find that stuff anywhere. They get things in all the time so its always worth browsing. I mean, you never know what you’ll find. Parking is a little limited, but I’ve never had a problem.
