Best ribs EVER. Recommend to everyone. Friendly staff and very clean. Been to a few benefits. Must go.

Great pizza and good beer prices. Service was quick and friendly. We had a «Kingy’s» size pizza which was enough for 3 adults. We also has stuff jalapeños and fried pickles. Those were good as well.

My boyfriend has been dying to try Kingy’s for a while now and since we were in the area we decided to stop in. I heard that this was a pizza &BBQ joint but there really wasn’t very much BBQ on the menu. I was fine with that since I can get BBQ’ed out pretty quickly. We started off with the wings and got the Cajun Garlic and Spicy BBQ. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the Cajun Garlic sauce is one of the best sauces I’ve ever had! I am wishing I could find this flavor somewhere closer because I would honestly eat it every single day. The Spicy BBQ was ok, but nothing to rave about. I ordered a pepperoni and onion pizza to see what this pizza hype was all about and the boyfriend ordered the ribs which were also an item he had heard was pretty tasty. The pizza was not that great in my opinion. The crust was really thin and a little too over cooked. There wasn’t a lot of sauce either which made it very dry and I didn’t eat very much of it. The ribs were not that great either which was disappointing. The bones stuck out a lot(meaning less meat) and the rib meat was very dry and did not fall off the bone easily. The service was good, everyone was friendly. I think the food could be better and because of how far away this place is from me, I can’t really see myself going out there again unless I am already in the area. However, if that’s the case I’ll definitely go in and order all their wings!

I’ve been eager to try the barbeque here for some time now, namely the ribs, but I left a bit disappointed. The price for a full rack of ribs here is a steal at under $ 15, but the quality really showed through for me. My ribs were very dry and tough, and the bones were sticking out a good inch on either end with not a whole lot of meat on them. I’ve seen this happen before on a bad cut of ribs, or if they’ve rendered down wayyy too much. Either way, it wasn’t a pleasant experience, and the ribs didn’t really look like the ones I’ve seen in others’ pictures. I’m hoping it was just a one off. My girlfriend ordered a pizza here as well, and it was a traditional Ohio cut pie, and I thought it was pretty average. I could barely taste the sauce, and the crust didn’t stand out much, so the only thing I really got a good taste of was the pepperoni, and those were fine. I can’t said I’d be eager to come back for more of this. Our experience here wasn’t all bad though, because we ordered 10 of the wings as well, and those were fantastic! In fact, the sauces we had on those, the Cajun Garlic and the Whoa Nellie(Hot BBQ), were some of the best wing sauces I’ve had in a while! Not to mention, the chicken was tender and had a nice crispiness on the outside. I wish I had ordered only wings, because they really were excellent. The bartenders were frienndly enough, and there was an okay beer selection. Don’t expect to find many craft or local brews here, although I’m sure they may carry some Brewdog once they build their new brewery in town. I don’t always need a heavy beer, and the ones on tap were nice and cold and hit the spot after doing some hiking down in Hocking Hills. Overall, I’d come back for the wings, but there’s definitely better pizza and BBQ around Columbus.

I have been to Kingy’s twice now and I have come to like it. Their pizza is really good and their wings are A-OK with the Cajun Garlic sauce they have. It does get quite busy as the night progresses(past 6:00pm). I love the variety of memorabilia the place has ranging from the Buckeyes to the local Pickerington and Canal Winchester HS jerseys and signs. I hope to try one of their sandwiches next time — and they were featured on Good Day Columbus over the Summer! King Me! 4⁄5 stars

We went there last evening on A Friday and it was very busy. The service workers were very nice and prompt. The ribs were very dry, the bun on my fried bologna sandwich was very dry and I could not eat it. There must be nothing to do in Canal Winchester because the place was packed but the food was not exceptional in fact not good. I wanted this to be good so the management must make sure the food is prepared perfectly. I was very disappointed having driven from Waverly. Please take this as constructive criticism and fix these things ! I seriously wanted the food to be great! My mother and her sisters were all excellent cooks so I know when I am getting a good meal!

Great gluten free pizza and ribs. Husband also enjoys the spaghetti. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Also you get free popcorn as an appetizer. One of my favorite places to eat.

Their food is great. Wings are amazing. Pizza could be better. The crust on the pizza plain sucks. Very cheap but so thin you can’t pick up a piece without dropping all your toppings. The toppings are amazing though. Some of the best around beings are the best I’ve had too. But the crust on the pizza just turns the place off for me when I want pizza.

Kinda of a south of South side legend everybody has to eat here atleast once. One of the servers is a friend and she eats the food and says the cooks are on the up and up… great food great place to gather with friends of family

I’ve been meaning to come here for a long time, but the location and hours conspired against me. Today we happened to be in Canal Winchester, so figured we would try it out. Heck, it’s even a haul from CW. It is way out of the way even when you’re down this way. It’s a nice place though: big, with a nice patio, and a welcoming interior. Very much a sports bar feel. The starter was a letdown: stale popcorn. But service was great, and the rest of the meal was pretty good. We talked about the BLT pizza, an apparent regional specialty, but passed this time. I was there for the ribs, and Sweetie had a personal pepperoni pizza. Her pizza was fine overall, but both of us thought that while the pepperonis were great the crust was very bland. My half slab came with good coleslaw and decent fries. The ribs were of the saucy, «fall off the bone» type, but among the best example of it that I have had. The sauce was quite good, flavorful and slightly spicy. The meat itself actually had good smoky flavor. And while eating meat that barely stays on the bone is difficult and even more messy than with most ribs, this was still«toothsome» as I call it, with a bit of resistance to it. I enjoyed them and would have them again. Prices are good, as are portions. If I lived nearby I’d come once in awhile. As it is, maybe on a visit to the Hocking Hills or something; it’s a heck of a haul.

I did not have time to sit and eat inside, so this Review is based on my pizza. Ordered(via phone) a small size white pizza: sausage, green pepper and mushrooms; garlic/oil«sauce». Got back home and there was still steam coming from the hot box — nice. The crust is thin. Crispy, almost. Man, the toppings were spot-on! Loaded with tinier-sized sausages. Tons of pep and shrooms. I was in heaven already! First bite? Scrumptious. Mozzarella cheese caked on. The flavors melded together like ice cream and a hot brownie! Sausage has a bit of spice to it — the perfect amount for me! This pizza did not have an oily top, either. I’m interested to try more dishes on this joint’s menu. Or, another pizza will do the trick, I’m sure!

Read the reviews here and on google and with the ratings so high, I had to give it a try. My son and I decided to use a groupon for the first time, so it took the sting out of things a bit. First, their MT Dew tasted like diet, she said they changed it and brought a new one out and it still tasted diet, I think what happened was they are using more carbonated water than the mix calls for, maybe to save on syrup. My son has a BBQ sub and he said it was just ok, that he had tasted better. The pizza was really not great, I ate it but id never order it again. Sure, it had quite a bit of cheese and pepperoni on it, but it just did not have any real flavor, nothing to make me say«mmm this is good». The free popcorn was a nice touch, service was slow and it was really not busy at all.

This place is seriously delicious. If you like wings, their sauces are amazing. I’m a fan of their garlic, BBQ, and Garlicky Hot — and of course extra crispy. The deep friend pickles also have a thin but tasty batter I’ve never experienced before. Well-mannered, courteous staff. Warm atmosphere and never disappointed unless we have to wait!!!

Took advantage of a groupon to take the in-laws to Kingy’s since they live in Pickerington. It’s set up like a sports bar, but it’s relatively quiet so family friendly. Plenty of TVs but they’re too small, so you can’t really see the scores of the games. The beer list is so-so. Could use more microbrew. We ordered the pretzel bites, Mexican pizza, Kingy’s Special Pizza, and Kingy’s All the Way pizza. The pizza toppings are good, but the crust and sauce are relatively low on flavor. I thought they skimped on the cheese as well. So if you get a fully loaded pizza like the Kingy’s All the Way, you’ll like it. But if you got a plain cheese pizza, you might not be as satisfied. I thought the pretzel bites were good, but my wife was disappointed that the nacho cheese is the artificial store bought type… Overall though, the food here is very reasonably priced, so I can see why this place is relatively popular among the locals in Pickerington.

Been to Kingy’s so many times I can’t count! I will say the pizza has gone downhill slightly but still a very good bar pizza. Kingy’s is very family friendly and the patio is great in the summer months. The Ribs and buffalo chips are two of the biggest hits along with a cold beer!

Kingy’s is a solid spot and one of my favorite places to hang out. The pizza is awesome, super thin cracker crust with great sauce and toppings. I usually always go with the Kingy’s All the Way pizza with everything on it, but any one of their pizzas are amazing. The menu also has a host of other pub style foods to choose from that are great as well such as the wings, friend pickles, jalapeño bottle caps, and Kingy’s chips to name a few. From about 6:00PM — 8:30PM this place is packed, and I mean packed on the weekends. They have a large parking lot and it can be hard to find a spot sometimes. I suggest calling ahead when you leave and asking what the wait is and having them put you on the list. I have done this several times and it lessens the wait and in many cases your table is ready shortly after you arrive depending on how far you drive is. The atmosphere is very casual and family friendly. It is also a great place to hang out with a group and drink some cold draft beer and eat some piping hot pizza. They can accommodate larger groups on their patio that they can enclose in the winter and heat to continue using the space. The family that owns the place also operates a large drive through on the property as well in a separate building. The place is widely popular with the local crowd and has a bit of a cult following. They have won many awards for their pizza, wings, and ribs at local and national festivals. The place is just an all around good time with great food. They also serve complementary popcorn while you wait. A great place to hang out with your family and friends.

First time here and I think it was AWESOME!!! The service time was relatively quick, the food was great for the price, and the Kingy Chips were EXCELLENT! I really can’t wait to go back. Cool Features: — They have their own drive-thru — It’s got the feel of an old-time pub — Lots of different ppl that come in — Huge glasses for fountain drinks I definitely RECOMMEND!
