I came here on vacation with my friend. The breakfast menu has a great low carb option, the Hardcore skillet. 2 eggs, choice of meat and choice of veggies and cheese. High quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Whenever I am in the Finger Lakes I will be back!

The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. The signs pointing where to go were helpful. We came to this café after reading the great Unilocal reviews. We were, however, not overly impressed with the pizza quality. Four of us each had one slice of the pizza. The price tag for one slice is over $ 4. We noticed that many people were eating sandwiches etc., not the pizza. Maybe the locals know something? We’d like to return to try some more items from the menu.

This restaurant is AMAZING! The food is exceptional with a nice refreshing twist on a typical deli. We had the panini of-the-day and a grilled wrap. Very generous portions to say the least. The Italian Wedding Soup could not have been any better. Super HOT in temperature, too. The wait in line is well worth it so don’t be discouraged. Dollar for dollar, it’s a great value. Can’t wait to return! Oh yeah, the personalized service was super so thank you for the hospitality. :)

My initial reaction was to resist going to Macris… blame my own general hesitation to jump on restaurant-praising bandwagons or its location in an ordinary-looking plaza… Fact is, I feel silly. You can’t judge a restaurant by its front door and you can’t get a better pizza, prosciutto panini or cup of good soup anywhere else in Canandaigua. The sheer size of the inside is impressive, with bright windows and a long counter to place your order, check out the delightful deli salads, homemade desserts and pay for the food, before sitting down. When you wait for your food, sometimes the wait feels past the point of fast, but trust me, the moment after, someone will bring you your food. Its menu is massive and diverse. Out of town visitors, twice-visiting, seem to get excited to return to this place, so it’s a tried and true recommendation for lunch. Actually, I have only visited Macri’s for lunch, favoring the ½ sandwich and soup combo for about $ 11. The Prosciutto panini is packed with thin, salty ribbons of «Proscioot» with fresh slices of mozzarella and a hearty drizzle of balsamic – a panini so rich and flavorful that the half portion is incredibly filling. Their italian wedding soup looks and tastes homemade, with a beefy and delicious stock, filled with vegetables, chicken and some beef. Their cookies are soft, huge and chock full of chocolate chips. I’m looking forward to trying their dinner pasta specials in the near future!

This place is awesome! food is great. I’ve noticed that it is always busy. Now I know why. I’ll be back tomorrow for the breakfast sandwich. I have a new favorite place in Canandaigua.

The quality and consistency here are outstanding. Macri’s has an excellent selection of sandwiches, salads, paninis, pizzas, and cold/hot subs. Perfect for lunch takeaway, although the in-house seating is wonderfully spacious and makes for a pleasant experience as well. The prices are moderate; not cheap and not expensive. I really enjoy the«Tommy’s Fresh Mozzarella» panini because the balsalmic glaze is awesome! It really makes the sandwich just a little bit more special. Service is swift. A great bet for lunch in Canandaigua.

The first time I went there was because I was next door waiting for my phone to be fixed when it was recommended that I go have lunch while waiting. The experience was awesome .The sandwiches are one of the best I’ve ever had and they’re huge. I have since been back twice and brought out of town guests there as well. I Love This Place!!!

After a failed attempt to have a late lunch at Rio Tomatlan, we ended up here. They actually served us food. That’s a big plus. An even bigger plus is that our sandwiches were tasty, hot, and served by a really nice guy who appears to enjoy his job. The food is always good here – the mozzarella panini is a favorite. The casual atmosphere is comfortable, the pastries look amazing, and we definitely need to come here more often.

This place still impresses me! Very friendly staff. Food has never been a disappointment. They have a way to earn free subs, coffee and pizza. Download Perka, check-in and get credit when you go in.

My husband and LOVE this place! The food is absolutely amazing, the service is great, and the portions are huge. We usually go for lunch but we have been for breakfast once and that was unbelievably good. I only wish they were open a little later for dinner.

If you can find your way through the maze of roads and parking lots, it’s well worth the trip. Very friendly staff, clean, organized, and food is terrific. Seriously, the BEST pasta sauce I’ve ever had, tastes like someone’s Italian grandma cooked it on the stove all day long. The meatballs are great too. None of those little pre made frozen golf ball type thingys. Buy an extra cookie or dessert to go(you’ll thank me later). I believe they have breakfast sandwiches too but so far I haven’t tried them, although I plan to. Update 5÷14÷15 Breakfast sammies are excellent! Nothing was prefab, all made to order and from scratch. Bagel, egg, cheese around $ 5. Crunchy bagel, fluffy egg, generous with the contents. Served piping hot and wrapped in foil to go. They also serve Finger Lakes coffee!(update 5÷31÷14) We’ve been there a few more times and while the food is still fantastic, the counter service is somewhat off. Even if they are not busy, with several workers behind the counter, they appear to not have a process in place for handling the order. Definitely room for improvement.

My mother and I went here for lunch last week. We ordered a large Italian sub and Caesar salad to share. The staff was super friendly, and portions are huge! The sub was delicious with great bread. The lettuce in the salad was slightly wilted and the dressing had no flavor. I would go back and try their other sandwiches.

Stopped there for lunch today and ordered the meatball sandwich. I almost ordered it as a sub, but when I saw some of the subs they were preparing I realized that this place serves big portions. Really big. My sandwich was excellent. Great meatballs, just the right amount of sauce and mozzarella cheese on top. Perfection. It’s nice to go to a local place, instead of a chain, where they all seem preoccupied with portion control. Marci’s gives you a great value for your money. I’ll definitely be back.

I read the reviews on Unilocal and had to try this place with my wife. We went around 11 – 1130 am. It wasn’t busy at all. When we entered we were greeted but after that didn’t know what or where we were supposed to go. It’s a huge bar with people next to desserts and others further down near meats etc. We finally just walked up where ever and ordered. They carry bores head meat. Everything was clean and delicious looking. We ordered a Cajun turkey panini(on special) and a small potatoe salad. My wife ordered a granny turkey wrap and a small macaroni salad. For drinks you picked out of a Pepsi cooler unit. They had bottled beers and wines. Both potato and Mac salads were delicious(potato had bacon chunks and Mac had a good sweetness to it). We both got very full and actually threw some away. Everything had great flavors. We will come back.(This place was packed before we left, aka lunch time)

Macri’s is a great deli. The lines are often long because it is so popular. They have a variety of subs to choose from. You can also order with toppings you prefer. Today I got the small turkey with hot peppers, lettuce and three pepper Colby jack cheese. The small can easily feed two people. My daughter says they need smaller portions. Home made pizza always looks delicious but I have not tried it yet. The chicken parm is to die for. Macri’s offers pasta on weekend evenings. Gluten free rolls available. Friendly and helpful employees. Many baked goods to choose from. I do not like the Italian cookies– a little dry for my tastes. The chocolate chip cookies are A-MAZ-ING! I don’t want to know how many calories are in them. Macri’s also sells a variety of drinks, including wine and beer. You can dine inside or on the patio. We often get take out. Highly recommend.

Ive driven past this place innumerable times, but never gave it much thought until a coworker recommended it to me. The storefront is easy to spot driving on 5&20 near Main street, but I always found this particular shopping plaza incredibly awkward to get into because of where the entrances are. Not to mention the shape of the plaza is just weird… go and you will see what I mean. I’m glad I finally made my way down the winding road that leads to Macri’s; it was definitely better than I thought it would be. It’s in the same category as Dibellas/Pellegrinos in terms of the ordering process which involves standing on line to tell your order to the person who prepares it and then moving ahead to the cashier to pay. I ordered a veal parm sub and it was ready by the time I finished paying the cashier probably because the line was moving very slowly but I assume they would come bring your food to your table or something if it wasn’t ready yet. The menu offers some nice options for subs. The pizza didn’t look that good to me, as if it had been sitting out awhile. I also hear they have some type of pasta bar on certain nights. My veal parm sub was heaven. The sub roll was freshly baked and melted in my mouth and the sauce was fresh, bursting with flavor and the veal was nicely fried and breaded. I got a chocolate chip cookie which was quite big, but very undercooked in the middle. Was more like cookie dough, but I should probably have gone with some of the more traditional italian cookies they had on display. The inside was pleasant and it looks like the have plenty of seating. The staff that work there were all incredibly nice. Macri’s seems to be popular with the locals and is worth checking out if you’re in the area

After a long day out I wanted a bite to eat, so I bought a buffalo chicken club. Well, a bite is a major understatement for the dish. The sandwich was very large and delicious, while not being very expensive. There also is a different variety of drinks, like locally produced chocolate milk.
