My friends recently had their wedding ceremony and reception here. The ceremony was held outside under the trees and was a beautiful space with the reception being held in the barn which accommodated about 185 people. The inside of the barn was very nice for a country themed event. I was a little surprised to see the outside was more of a steel structure than an actual barn. There was a bridal getting ready area which was nice. My favorite part had to be the«hitchin’ post» which was a little saloon looking building that had its own bar in it!

I have photographed 2 weddings here on separate occasions, and the staff is amazing! Natalie Postlewait is engaging, competent and on top of your schedule without being pushy or bossy. As a photographer, I love this location because the natural light is simply stunning. For a June wedding, golden hour hit right at 8:30 and there are no trees obstructing the photo perfection. Eric and Cassandra, the wedding couple, loved this location and even had smores in the firepit during the reception. Can’t wait to post some pictures so you can see it for yourself!

Postlewait’s was a real surprise when we pulled in. The grounds are very spacious, with barns, a stream, vineyard, cows, horses, plenty of open fields and a fantastic view of Mt Hood. It’s in a country setting and you really get the country feel(not Western) from the moment you arrive. There’s even an old ‘Saloon’ with a porch where they served drinks from. The countryside feel this venue has created has made this one of our favorite places so far.
