Firehouse Coffee

The owners/​staff were very friendly. They made us two large mocha coffees and a breakfast sandwich quickly. The food was good and the cookies were amazing. We will definitely make this a regular stop on our way to Ithaca.

I had the pleasure of attending Firehouse Coffees grand opening on Saturday. It is in a great location right in downtown Candor. There is only on street parking but I had no trouble pulling up and getting inside.
The owner, Robin, is so sweet and very enthusiastic. She told me the coffee is locally roasted (Binghamton) and it was definitely fresh and delicious. They have brew coffee only, no espresso, although Robin told me they are considering getting an espresso machine in the future.
She made our breakfast sandwiches fresh right when we ordered, with real eggs. The prices are really good, only $ 1.50 for my medium coffee and $ 3 for the breakfast sandwich. She also had fresh soup made by Snarky’s food truck and delivered that morning! I tried the butternut squash bisque and it was great. There are lots of other pastries and goodies to buy.
The coffee shop is located in the former fire house (thus the name) and there is a cool fish tank in the wall.
I would definitely recommend stopping by. Everything is so fresh. You can’t get a better cup of coffee in Candor and they have service with a smile!
