Courtyard Youngstown Canfield

Brand new hotel with excellent service and accommodations! Being a Platinum Elite member, I was treated to a
«1 bedroom 2 room duite with 1 king bed, a sofa bed, 1.5 bathrooms, and a golf view. 2 microwaves! 2 refrigerators!
I love this place!

Brand new Courtyard (Marriott brand) hotel — new is good!
Loved the décor of the hotel (modern without being too edgy — lots of gray and blue) and the cleanliness of it all. There’s lots of little things that make these hotel rooms great — a mini fridge and microwave hidden away in a cupboard, a glass walk-​in shower in which you can turn the water on from the end opposite of the shower head, USB night stand outlets… you get the point.
Has the typical Courtyard gym and indoor pool (only way the pool area could have been greater is if there was a hot tub too — always appreciated during work trips) — hotel bread and butter.
Hotel has a great view behind it because it backs up to a golf course and golf course club, and to enjoy the view, there is a nice stone patio area with rocking chairs and a fire pit.
Didn’t have to interact with the staff much, but they were nice and helpful.
Currently, this place is fairly dead because it is sort of isolated from the road (it is next to a golf course) and it’s new, so I’d be excited to see what it feels like when there are more people taking advantage of this great hotel.
P. S. There’s a sweet horse statue out front. Not sure of the significance, but it’s cool.
