I happened upon this gallery early last summer on a side street in Cannon Beach. It was like stepping into a fantastic, humorous, compelling new world! The space itself is beautiful and light, and the owner clearly has outstanding taste — modern, a little surreal, a little offbeat. I thought the prices seemed reasonable, and I will be back, driving from Portland!

The art work here is awesome and displayed beautifully. There was a piece with a trombone in it that my husband was in love with, but it was $ 350, and honestly too small for that price. The art here is $$-$$$ so be prepared for that, but much of it is so unique and intricate that you’ll wish your pockets were deeper! The lady working there didn’t speak to us at all which I guess is fine. The place is somewhat hidden, but a total gem on the beach!

I love the cut of their jib. This relatively new gallery on the upper level of the 2nd and Larch Building in Cannon Beach fills the alternative and innovative artist niche well. Dark, moody, foreboding and humorous, their artists tend to be in the new and emerging category. You’ll see creatures great and small, both amusing and harbingers of doom. I always find myself entertained and slightly disturbed(in a good way), by their collections. And the gallery space is absolutely beautiful. Every business in this building is modern and elegant.
