Cannon Beach RV Resort

Woodsy area for coverage, even though we were dry docking. Clean bathrooms with hot water. Not much through or road traffic as this area was tucked back a bit.

This would be a great place to stay in any location. Being only ½ mile away from the soft sands and tidepools of Cannon Beach makes it one of my top favorites overall.
There are so many great things about the park. Start with the setting and spacing. With so many trees, it’s more forested than some national park campgrounds I’ve been in. Spacing is very good for an RV park, with a little bit of room for the kids to run around. The indoor pool and hot tub is probably the star of the show. We used them both every day we were here, even though the weather outside was fantastic for April. The staff are all very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The Wifi is the absolute best I’ve ever seen in an RV Park – that’s important, because we couldn’t get AT&T here even with a booster.
Normally we don’t travel with a car. Having places our kids can get to on their bikes is important. This location really delivers, with an epic Oregon beach, plus groceries, coffee, and even dinner within easy bike riding range even for our 8-​year-​old.
The only knock I have against this place is that the playground is pretty tiny. Even though the pool and the beach are excellent alternatives, neither are places we can let the kids run off by themselves. In campgrounds with a better playground, it serves as a gathering places for all the children to meet up and entertain each other. Still doesn’t stop me from giving the place five stars and two thumbs up.

Thought this was a nice RV park. Close to downtown Cannon Beach and lots of trees. Probably on-​par for price vs other private RV campgrounds, and the amenities were a-​ok. We’d stay here again if we bring the RV to Cannon Beach again.

Very nice park and great location !! Wifi could use a little enhancement since there is no cell service in the park. We love this place however. This is are goto campground at the coast !!

RV park virgin so I didn’t know what to expect. RV’ing is definitely a culture. The «park» is nice and quiet with clean facilities and has all the amenities an RV camper could dream of. The Internet was spotty in our area which should be consistent when you pay the RV park premium. Fair. Not recommended for tenters.

Pretty nice place overall. Has a decent indoor pool and hot tub which was a real bonus for the kids. The park itself is well kept. Not much in the way of privacy they pack folks in pretty tight. Seaside is about 5 minutes drive. The nice part is Cannon Beach can be walked to or biked to. Lots to do nearby. We would stay here again.

I would give it 3.5 stars, actually. We have stayed here at least ten times. Pros: very nice rv park with grassy, treed spots. Some are a little more private than others. The pool is great for kids and is covered and heated. There are flush toilets and showers. There is a very small playground, and a basketball court. They have a little store, though the shelves have been mostly empty for many months (something about waiting for a POS system before restocking the shelves). They accept Good Sam discounts. Park is pretty quiet most of the time, with the exception of when there are small kids playing in the loop, same as any other campground.

Cons: they don’t allow tents, which would of been nice for teenagers or extra people. Or even limit tents to the dry camping parking lot area, would be nice. It is pretty spendy to stay here. They don’t have the popcorn machine anymore (which my family misses). There is no bench at the playground, for a parent to sit on while their kids play (and I’ve requested it, believe me). A lot of spots back to other trailers, so you are looking right at your neighbors. I heard they are updating the pool, but other than that, I just see money going in for profit, and no other improvements. No paper towels in the restrooms, and the hand dryers are so old, they barely work, plus, for some odd reason, they bolt the dirty garbage can right to the wall just inches beneath the hand dryer! Maybe they are scared someone will dry their hair with it, I don’t know. I wish they would fix the wood puffin statue, that is beakless now (it was so cute).

There are only three rv parks in town, to my knowledge. The Sea Ranch RV owners are jerks, and only care about raking in money. They are closer to town but some of the spaces to camp are laughably small. The ones with the grassy areas are much better. Pro: the last time I was there, there was a really nice conference room, you can rent for events. Oh and it smells like a dairy, since it’s next to all those horses. When the wind hits you, plug your nose.
I’ve not stayed at Wrights for camping, but heard the people there are nice, and they were nice on the phone. I’ve driven thru and it is beautifully wooded and secluded, though small. Our rv trailer wouldn’t fit there.

This place seems to be the only gas in Cannon Beach. The day we stopped in both pumps were down. Lucky we weren’t desperate. The folks running the place were very nice.

Couldn’t have found a better, winter camping place to take kids. The pool and hot tub were awesome. The bathrooms were nice, very clean, and warm. Staff was very friendly. Close enough to town, and the beach. This place is probably pretty amazing in the summer!

Another great time at CBRV! Al the amenities you could want. Real peaceful campground. Pricey, but nice

My bad, there are 2 showers in each bathroom at both of the 2 shower complexes.

This was a nice camp ground style RV park that had wi-​fi as well as cable, a hot tub, swimming area, and a game room. They also have a nice store and have diesel, as well as gas pumps. This place is easy to get to right off of 101.
The spaces are plenty big as we need the space for our 30 ft long trailer and big diesel truck. We had a pull through site, and we had called months in advance because my sister was getting married on the beach. I’m glad we did because they were booked the whole weekend! We wanted to stay a day longer so we could spend more time with my family that I never get to see but our site was already rented out! It stated to get ahold of them before 10:00 am if you wanted to keep your spot which we did! I’m pretty disappointed about that. That is why the 4 star. Other than that the place was great! I would go back in a heart beat!

Good price, reasonably wide sites, full hook up, very helpful staff, lots of extras like a hot tub and pool, gas, pool tables and last minute space for people with out reservations.
On the bad side, no private bathrooms, too far from town and the beach and the wifi was horribly slow to the point that they shouldn’t advertise that they have wifi.

Full hookups, shuttle into town was nice ($ 1 per person) pool was great for the kids (hot tub for me). Hubby said bathrooms were very clean. Nice park. My only complaint was that the «free wi-​fi» was terrible.

We have stayed here a few times now this year. As a newer trailer owner I really like staying here because they make everything easy. While they aren’t ocean front or even an ocean view it’s a quick walk or drive to get to the beach. The people who run the resort are always nice and helpful and keep the place very clean.
There is a little playground for the kids and it is very dog friendly. The pool and hot tub are nice and in the «summer hours» from 8pm to 10pm you get adult only time in the pool and hot tub which makes it nice and relaxing.
We will be back for sure.

Sites are nice, grassy space at each, and a fire pit. The bathrooms were very clean, and hot showers. Dog friendly, nice area for kids… we have older teens and they enjoyed the pool & basketball. Great playground for littles and some really great close campsites for young families next to the play area… we saw what looked like a party of 4 or 5 spaces with children in that area and it looked really convenient for both kids and parents.

As other reviewers have me tinned, spaces are a bit close together. We have a 42 foot motor home, stayed here June 2013 4 nites. Dog friendly! Some pull troughs, we had back in. Lots of trees, couldn’t get satellite reception but they have cable. Free WiFi worked just ok. Public transportation to town. Conveniently located. Indoor pool, laundry (excellent and reasonable). Would stay again.

Pretty close to the south part of town, it was rainy all weekend so we drove but its a doable walk to a few coffee shops and restaurants. The spaces were not too small but they were pretty close together. We were there off season so only one of a handful in the park but I bet in summer it’s pretty crowded! Indoor pool and bathroom facilities available but I can’t a comment on them since we didn’t use. Dogs were welcome which we liked! And they have a Good Sam member discount which is always nice. Bad things: NO cell reception! And the wifi was free but drove me crazy because I had to constantly re log into it! My husband didn’t mind but I did :) overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

I’d give them 3 ½ stars… First time staying here in a 34 ft motorhome. Spaces are fairly spacious especially some more than others… we requested a grassy spot for our dogs. Ask for a perimeter spot. It’s located about 1.8 miles SE from Cannon Beach across hwy 101, lots of trees, NO ocean view of course. Price was reasonable, full hookups, picnic tables, fire pits, pretty good Internet, very quiet. There are only two RV places to stay in CB. The other one, Sea Ranch, is better located but not nearly as nice or spacious. Bathrooms are very clean, great showers, very convenient general store small but good variety, firewood, propane, gas & diesel fuel (fuel a bit pricey but convenient), good laundry room, friendly staff. City shuttle comes through here. Will stay again.

Park seemed decent, but we were just looking for diesel and saw a sign out on 101, made a left, drove a ½ block, made another left into their driveway, then had to circle through the park to turn around with our 34′ MH and towed car, when we finally pulled up to the pump, the diesel was $ 4.49/gal. We have been on the road for 2 weeks, and have been through 3 states, and this was by far the highest diesel we ever saw, and was very inconvenient to check the price. They should not lure people in like that.
We found it down the road for $ 4.17 at the Shell in Garibaldi.
