this place is pretty cute, the people that work there are nice. But it’s very overpriced. 28 $ for 9 chocolates. That seems extremely overpriced but idk. The milkshakes were also really overpriced 6.50 $. But the milkshake was really good! I also got a cupcake and it was really good too! My mom got a French press coffee? Something like that and she did not like it at all. It was really watered down and had no flavor.

They carry Moonstruck chocolates here, as well as a few of their signature drinks, like the Mayan hot chocolate. I had just walked on along the beach for three hours, and the last 15 minutes was in rain and light hale. So I was cold and needing something to warm me up. I was excited for the Mayan hot chocolate since that’s one of my favorites from Moonstruck. I ordered the Dark Mayan Hot chocolate and it came out looking really good. But my first sip was bad. It was all cinnamon. It was scalding, more bitter, and overpowering in cinnamon, than the Dark Mayan I get at the Moonstruck in Beaverton. It was not the same drink. I was disappointed. I was wet. And Miserable. On a high note, the space is small and cozy and the service was great.

Phenomenal service! I’m not much of a milkshake fan in general… But their chocolate hazlenut milkshake was amazing. Not overly creamy, it was just right. The milkshake was hand-mixed. I am bummed that this place is not in Portland! I’ll just have to come by every time I visit the coast :)

I had a Madagascar vanilla shake that was so thick my spoon could stand in it. He made it right in front of me. Great customer service.

I don’t believe I have ever had a drink or sweet treat that was anything besides outstanding. Quaint, comfortable, and delicious.

Really cozy place and perfect for a rainy day. They don’t have espresso drinks, but the chocolates are amazing.

If you want a great piece of chocolate this is the place to go. You name it they have it even Nemo Fish shaped truffles. Our grandkids had a cookies and cream ice cream cone shaped truffle and they save red every bite

After checking out the beautiful neighboring art galleries– my wife and I stopped to check out the Chocolate Café. We got a dark chocolate hot chocolate and it made me feel so happy, it brought a smile to my face. Would recommend!

Any time I go to Canon Beach I stop here, sometimes even at the beginning and the end of my exploring and walking around. Their chocolate is phenomenal, in every form.

A pleasant surprise in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Tim, the café owner, was extremely hospitable and made us feel at home. He has a passion for travel, culture, and chocolate confections. Pulling up a chair, he shared fascinating stories and gifted us with a very enjoyable and memorable afternoon — it was like he opened his home to us. The coffee was fantastic and the chocolate world class. We will definitely be back!

This place is so good. We went a few years ago and came again this year. The chocolate Mayan milkshake will not disappoint you. It has a definite kick to it. I would highly recommend it. I love chocolates and their truffles are no exception. Cute, decadent, and mouthwatering, I love the little animal shapes they come in. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star rating is because of the employees. I understand they must be busy and deal with a lot of tourists, however, that doesn’t excuse their obvious disdain for the job. There were two employees working today, and the girl was OK, but the young man just left me feeling like I shouldn’t even bother spending my money there. When I asked for a milk shake he flipped his hair out of his eyes and acted like it was such a chore. No smiles whatsoever. When we had questions he acted like it was a bother just to answer them. I’m sorry, but if you’re not happy then do something else.

Really sweet little chocolate place that is perfect for the coast. I grabbed a dark chocolate mocha and it was delicious; not sweet but had such a rich flavor. If I hadn’t just eaten, I would have tried the milkshakes or hot chocolate. Sounded great!

Everything is excellent! We had just had a wonderful lunch at Sweet Basil’s. Mari Got a chocolate milkshake that she thought was fantastic. I saw that they used a French press to make their coffee so had a cup. Very smooth and goes well with the chocolate chip cookie I had. Nice big chunks of chocolate with a smooth malt cookie taste. yummmm

WOW Absolutely bummed to read some of the bad reviews because our experience was amazing! A fit older gentleman right away asked if we needed help whilst helping another customer queuing fellow workman to help us out. He did so kindly and even offered us a box for 4 chocolates even though we only purchased 3 with the ribbon tie as well. My husband and I are just camping here for the weekend and to get such an elegant little box was like receiving a gift. My husband also ordered the dark hot chocolate here’s what he said: He artfully made the hot chocolate and even tasted to make sure it was up to his standards. Then he skillfully pour it into the cup in front of me and busted out the home made whipped crème and spread a spoonful across the top. Thanks !

I seem to be having trouble being understood in Cannon Beach. Maybe it’s my non-existent accent? :p Anyhoozle, came into this place to specifically buy the bee truffle advertised in their front window, to which they replied, oh we have to order it and it won’t come in until Mother’s Day. Lame. Also, you don’t make your own truffles? Also lame. Furthermore, I ordered a cashew turtle and received a pecan cluster. Ummm, not the same thing. The taste was meh and a little bland. Honestly, my dad makes better pecan candies with almond bark and pecans. I did order and correctly receive my dark hot chocolate, which was extremely tasty but pricey($ 5) for the small. In short, delicious hot chocolate but a messed up order, bland candies, and non-homemade truffles gets 3 stars. Would I come back? Maybe, but only for the hot chocolate.

This place is awesome! If your in canon beach and need a good cup of coffee, tea, chocolate, treats, or a gift this is the place to go. The service is always great and I never feel rushed by the employees while I’m trying to decided what I want with so much delicious goodness to choice from. Seems a little pricy but everything is from quality ingredients and well made, so it’s well worth every cent!

Great assortment of chocolate! Wonderful service — the girl behind the counter was super friendly. I did not hear about their milkshakes until after I visited so I look forward to trying that the next I visit.

Come here after watching Chocolat! This is one of my favorite places to go during Cannon Beach evenings. It’s sweet, quiet, and there’s chocolate everywhere. Great for buying small gifts too. My service has always been top notch too, even though the non-existent line can confuse things. Also, come here ready to enjoy a chocolate or two. A truffle for $ 3 isn’t so bad when it’s all you came for :).

Zero stars if that was an option. Our family tried to make a purchase a few years ago. The girl behind the counter helped another customer who was obviously there after us. Did nothing to correct the situation when I brought it to her attention. I contacted the owner who apologized and offered a free item the next time we decided to come in. Today we figured we’d give it another try. An adult woman was helping us and then was assisting another while we continued to look. We were waiting at the counter to pay when a girl came out from the back and ignored us and helped another customer– even after the woman told her we were there first!!! What is it with these people? The owner obviously has no control of his staff. We will never go back and will continue to advise family and friends to not bother. What a joke.

Lovely little chocolate café. Dark chocolate, 70% and above cacao is my favorite, and the shop had many options for me, all delicious. I bought a few chocolate bars based in Oregon(such as Moonstruck), and bought truffles from the display. The selection is quite good(from all around the world). I bought a dark chocolate drink made with almond milk. It was incredibly smooth, and rich. Served in an espresso cup. High marks!
