Fruffels

Went as a first time customer to this store while in Cannon Beach for the first time. A very disappointing experience. First they offered to order something they didn’t have in stock, I paid up front almost $ 500. A week passes before they call and let me know the item is no longer available, that’s ok I guess although it seems like sheer laziness that they didn’t call sooner. The problem came when I wanted my money back, that took another week, during which they either didn’t care enough to take care of my needs promptly or they were giving themselves a free loan. The piece de resistance came when I spoke to the owner David on more than one occasion, when he told me that my priorities took a backseat to his «customers» as though I wasn’t a customer too. Pretty piss poor service really. I would have been a good customer for you, I like your merchandise, I can afford it, and I support small local businesses. Too bad you treated me so shabbily, now I won’t be back AND I will tell everyone I know about my experience dealing with you. It really begins to look like Fraud. You should be ashamed of the way you treated me and my husband David. If you treat all your customers like that you won’t last long.

I was amazed they have been open over a year, because how could I have missed this wonderful store? They have all sorts of housewares, accessories and jewelry, but I am a total sucker for kitchen gadgets and they had some great ones.
Like the previous reviewer, I purchased the herb snipper, as well as a larger version for cold cuts. Some of the home décor items are a little too glam for my taste, but there were many items I’d be happy to put on my holiday wish list.

This store is in an odd space right at the end so I am sure a lot of people miss it and they shouldn’t. They have a little bit of everything really. Home décor, candles, scarves, small kitchen gadgets, cheese servers, lotions, wrapping paper and even desk accessories. I found one of the greatest tools ever — an herb snipper that we use all the time. I also found some body lotion which I had never heard of but it is just heaven! I will be back whenever I visit the coast which is a lot!
