Had an amazing meal tonight! Ambience was super enjoyable, dim lighting, relaxing back ground music. Luckily got there just in time tonight. After my friend and I were seated, it was over an hour wait. My fried ordered the beef stew and I had the flank steak, ordered rare. Everything was delicious. The owner was so friendly, loved our waiter. I just recommend getting there early or call ahead to make a reservation! Lots of people were turned away after 6pm of they didn’t want to wait. Excellent food and service.

Where to start?! This place was amazing. We called ahead on Valentine’s day to get on the wait list, and they phoned us with a ready table 30 minutes sooner than expected! The ambiance was cozy. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines, and helped me select something perfectly suited to the meal. My husband and I split the pork chop and Irish stew, which were both fantastic(although I would certainly recommend a strong vote for the stew!), along with a chocolate pot and chocolate trifle for dessert. It was amazing! All told, the bill for two drinks, two entrees and two desserts was $ 88. And worth it!

4 brothers own and run the restaurant. Such great atmosphere and amazing food. The lobster bisque and the fresh cod were fantastic. We will definitely come back!

Not so impressed. I can see it’s probably the best restaurant in Cannon Beach. It got great atmosphere and awesome customer service. They played soundtrack of movie Braveheart. It was all about Irish and we liked it. Food was good too, but not great. My husband wasn’t happy about his order because they didn’t cook his flat iron steak in the way he asked them to. And they charge us $ 11 for glass of wine Siren while you can drink it a lot less in city. Maybe we were too excited to try this place out.

Well, we’re still in the afterglow of a truly lovely meal at the Irish Table. We arrived 30 minutes before they opened, raining sideways, standing room only, 30 people huddled on the covered patio. Didn’t make the first seating, so left our name and number, and returned to make sure we didn’t lose our place in line just as my phone rang to tell us our table was ready. Great drinks, great service, and the sturgeon was delicious, the flat iron steak with colcannon was perfect. A great meal, and a great value. We’ll be back, and hopefully soon. Very highly recommended.

This is hands down the best Irish food we’ve had, and definitely the best food in Cannon Beach! It’s hidden inside a coffee roasting shop and the food is amazing. The chef is so talented, we told the waiter(who is her brother-in-law) that she needs to open a restaurant in Portland!!! Butternut squash soup was perfect texture and the right amount of spicy, the flat iron steak with wild mushrooms was cooked to a perfect, tender medium. My husband had the red pepper soup and pork chop that was also amazing. Such a cozy, intimate little place! Great service as well. We will be eating here every time we come to Cannon beach from now on!

I can’t even begin to explain how delightful our trip to this restaurant was. There wasn’t a table ready when we arrived so we gave them our name and number and went next door to have a drink.(It’s a hardware store/bar/restaurant). We only waited about 15 – 20 minutes and then got seated at a cute table for 2 next to the window. The man who seated us was so nice and apologized for the wait even though it really wasnt that long anyway. Our server was really nice and made recommendations for drinks as well as food. I got the seafood chowder and the plunkett drink and my boyfriend got the beef stew. And OHMYGOSHITWASSOOOOOGOOD. The seafood chowder is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The drink was refreshing and balanced. So delicious. For dessert I ordered the chocolate pot(basically really yummy chocolate pudding and whipped cream) and paired it with a Pinot Syrah blend from Newberg that was suggested by the waiter. I was immensely saddened when it was all gone and we had to leave. But we will definitely be back.

Amazing! Everything they served was delicious. The server was very knowledgable and friendly. Portion sizes were perfect. I had the cod and my wife had the steak. They were both very flavorful with an amazing presentation. A nice little restaurant with a family feel. Put the place in a big city and the dishes could easily double in price, and it would be worth every penny.

Excellent restaurant. My husband and I walked right in and received a warm welcome from the brothers. Sean, Luke, Levi and Shane are brothers who own this fabulous restaurant. Sean’s wife, Crystal is the fabulous chef. I had the fish special, which was ling cod. Excellent presentation and delicious meal. The cod was served over wild rice and included little baby tomatoes and zucchini. The sauce was a basil aioli that was over the fish. This was a great light sauce that added a wonderful taste to the fish. My husband enjoyed the Irish Stew. He said is a superb. We will be back the next time when we are in Cannon Beach. If we do come back, I’ll let the brothers know so we can meet their Mom and have her join us for dinner.

Amazing! Cheese platter, mussels, steak and ling cod! All delish! My husband tried talking them into opening a place in Portland. Five brothers work at this family restaurant and it shows. They are all cute and so nice. What a pleasure, great food and perfect atmosphere. Wish we could eat here again tonight but need to give another place a chance ;)

I must admit the food was good, service ok, but waaayyyyyy overpriced and nothing about this place is Irish, except they had some Irish imported beer, so If your looking for Irish fare, don’t look here

The cheese appetizer was excellent but the corned beef and pork chop were just plain awful. How do you mess up corned beef when you make it every week? The pork chop was desiccated. Given the price, we were expecting so much more.

The Irish Table is amazing on every level… I had the Prawns last night based on the servers recommendation and they were outstanding. The chandeliers and décor are perfect and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I felt like part of the family! Highly recommend!

it just might be the best restaurant in cannon beach… But It was disappointing and did not live up to the hype. We all felt that the entrees were over priced. The associated coffeehouse/bakery is great though. I’d definitely come back again to go to the Sleepy Monk but would skip the Irish Table. I keep expecting the Oregon coast to elevate their food game but it just hasn’t happened.

Amazing experience here. Service was stellar, ambience was great, and the food was out of this world. Had the cheese plate, curry corn soup on special, salmon on special, and mushroom Wellington — all of which was amazing. Also had a chocolate dessert that was decadent. Next time we’re in town, we will definitely return.

What an amazing experience. We spent our honeymoon in Cannon Beach and this was our favorite dinner over the long«weekend» we stayed. Our hotel carried their Sleepy Monk coffee which was stellar and we tried to get some on the way out of town but they’re closed on certain days but we purchased some beans online. We were lucky to get the small 2-seater table right by the door without a reservation early one evening and had great drinks, to-die-for mussels, and great shepherd’s pie and dessert. The soda bread was the best soda bread I’ve ever had. It was worth every penny. It’s rare to have a meal out that has both skill and love in it, you can tell their heart and soul goes into this restaurant and not only is it yummy but inspiring. We truly hope we get to visit again someday.

This place absolutely lives up to the hype — 4.5 big stars for the Irish Table from me! Blows any other Irish food I’ve ever eaten out of the water. The stories about the lineups are absolutely true — reservations are available for parties of 4 or more, but if you’re 3 or less, get a spot in line/sit on the patio at least 15 – 30 minutes before opening. Everything was just so, so, so, good! From the complimentary soda bread that was steaming when it came out to us, to the sweet potato and mushroom phyllo pastry, to the best Shepherd’s pie I’ve ever tasted, everything was warm, rich comforting and homey, while being elegant and refined at the same time. Portion size was on the small/medium size — if you’re hungry, you’d need both an appetizer + main to be full. Service was extremely friendly and prompt. The waiters were extremely cordial and kept their cool when the table next to us had demand upon demand. The restaurant is on the casual, relaxed side — there were people in sundresses and slacks, but I walked in with my flip flops and workout shorts(hey, it IS a beach town…) and no one seemed to care. I really wish I could give this place a full 5 stars… I think it is more of a $$$ restaurant than $$ these days. The cheapest entrees were $ 25 — including the vegetarian sweet potato/mushroom phyllo dish. In some of the old menus that have been posted on various review sites(because I can’t access their website properly), prices were in the high teens to low 20’s that I would have been way more comfortable paying. I get that Cannon Beach is a spendy place, and I would probably come back if I am ever here again because the food was so amazing… but would have just been happier if the entrees were priced a few dollars lower.

How do you describe a dinner when everything(I mean everything) comes together! We arrived at 7:30 pm on Friday with sun blazing to the west and were invited to sit outside on a wooden table around a pillow ladden bench. Our waiter, one of 5 brothers, who with a sister in law, hold the key to the recipes from the old country invited us into their home. We went straight for the curried mussels and soda bread as per Unilocaler wisdom. Score! Then we dined on the beet salad as we mopped up the remaining curry«soup». Then the entrees: fresh salmon over potatoes, Shepards pie and mushroom Wellington. Insanely delicious. Did we mention the service… really…I haven’t had such a pleasant exchange with a waiter in years. Edgy. Attentive. Genuine. Funny. And he actually said«you are welcome»(rather than the exhausting«no worries») after every thank you! We finished up with homemade coffee ice cream and coconut trifle. Every star earned. Last night in cannon beach in the south side made magical.

Irish table. Sleepy monk by day, Irish table by night. Everything we had was on par and delicious. First, the ambience is very intimate and laid-back. I love all the wood décor. We began with the curried mussels. The curry sauce was so good that we drank it all even after the mussels were gone. Warm fresh bread was also served at the same time. The other half didn’t enjoy the bread as much but I loved the grainy wholesome taste to it. Now the highlight of the whole night: we got the mushroom cream soup with truffle oil. And I died. I finished my bowl and then had another. It was that good. We finished with the pork chop which was also a nice choice. The wild rice was the perfect complement to the pork. It would have been even better with the mushroom soup on the side. Heck, the bread wouldve been better with some mushroom soup to dip in. I’m salivating as I’m writing this and have plans to google mushroom soup recipes.

I loved the rustic cozy feel here as much as I loved the unique and delicious food! We sampled the curried muscles, the skirt steak, the bone in pork chop with seasonal veg and wild rice, and the mushroom wellington. All were rather tasty and in particular the pork dish was so tender it was hard to believe but I loved the mushroom wellington myself or the creativity of it and flavor. They are very nice people but they do get crowded, so I highly suggest you reserve a table(parties 4 or more) or get there no later than 5pm and line up, this place is popular and with good reason!
