We highly recommend Bob and A Rental Connection. We got married at Sunstone Villa in Santa Ynez and we were required to bring in everything (plates, forks, tables, kitchen items for cooking). Bob was so pleasant to work with and also very flexible. Because it was an all outdoor wedding we weren’t sure if we were going to need heaters, tents, umbrella’s. Bob allowed us to make so many changes which was so nice.

We have done several events utilizing the services of ARC and they are/​will always be our go to. Carlos is one of the most attentive and responsive people I have ever worked with. He is always able to accommodate our last minute items and provide solutions even while being super busy. Not too mention, the deliveries are on time and the guys are awesome.
If you need rentals, definitely use ARC, you don’t be disappointed.

We worked with Carlos at ARC and hi was amazing! Very helpful in making decisions. Everything was perfect (the only thing, we should have gotten more umbrellas, I recommend one per table if you think there will be sun)! Smooth, on time, very professional and quick set up. Highly recommend! They even upgraded the chairs for our ceremony for free. Contact them about 3 months ahead of time to get full attention.

If you’re getting married in LA/​Ventura, you have to call Bob at ARC!!! We were referred to him by our venue coordinators at Hummingbird Nest Ranch and are so thankful we found him! From day one, Bob was the easiest, most transparent, and patient vendor. Being one of the first vendors we hired, Bob really was there with us from day one.
We fell in love with Hummingbird and were initially apprehensive about how expensive it could get considering we were responsible for all rentals and logistics. Bob really took the time to work with us to make our dream wedding happen and within a very reasonable budget. On our first meeting, he really let me dream and ask for everything, without any hint of upselling or pressure. Obviously without knowing what things were going to cost, we went overboard and had to cut back – which he patiently helped us do without sacrificing our vision. We must have gone through millions of edits to the order! His response time is insane and he was always willing to go above and beyond (such as send me last minute photos of napkin samples when I came down with a case of indecision 10 days before our wedding). His attention to detail was really impressive considering how complicated these orders can be – I can’t emphasize enough what a relief it was not to have to worry about mistakes on Bob’s order vs. some other ones we had to deal with during planning. He helped design our reception set-​up beautifully to accommodate the seating and guestlist we had and put together a nifty map that I distributed to our other vendors. On the day of the wedding, Bob’s guys were there early and everything was set-​up perfectly. We are so thankful he was such a pro with Hummingbird – our wedding planner and caterer were even lucky enough to run into Bob during their walkthrough and he was able to share a ton of advice and knowledge with them.
Bob is a true professional and a good guy. Hire him!

My daughter’s wedding was at Hummingbird Nest Ranch on 9÷27÷15 and A RENTAL CONNECTION made the venue, which is an Italian villa and horse farm, look exquisite. Bob, helped me envision the scene – with market lights and chandeliers on hooks, which made this outdoor venue look exquisite. The beauty of the gold chairs and ivory linens with a touch of Merlot color for the napkins created a beautiful background to a wonderful night. The result of Bob’s guidance and his help with our selections for the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception resulted in a scene that was beyond what either my daughter or I had imagined. Additionally, Bob and all the employees from A Rental Connection were incredible to work with. The MOST amazing part of this situation was that they were ready to help us a second time when, due to a tragedy, the wedding date had to be moved. Bob was so kind and the company allowed us to use, as they said, «every penny» that we had given them toward the second date. This was so generous and their words and actions made us so happy we had chosen this company to do business with.

My wedding is a few weeks away so my review might change after the wedding (which I doubt) but so far, Bob has been great to work with! He’s been so patient with all my questions even when I’ve been sending multiple emails with one or two questions as things come up rather than one long email with all the questions. He’s also been very helpful with picking things, being honest with us, making sure we have everything covered (He really knows the venue very well and what you’ll need better than you do!), and being very flexible with our visits and needs. And A Rental Connection has everything you’ll need! I have no doubt that they will deliver the day of the wedding and will update/​follow up with another review after the wedding!

We worked with Kristi for our wedding a few weeks ago and she did a great job! We loved the tables we rented, along with the flatware, plates, glasses etc. Everything fit great with our theme! I loved going to their warehouse and playing around with the tablescapes. It was nice that they allowed us that time to really see things before we selected what we wanted. Kristi was great about helping us make budget friendly options, which my father greatly appreciated. It was nice to hear her opinions on what really mattered and what little things I could go cheaper on. She was very responsive and worked with us up until the last seconds. We had heaters on our order, which are costly. We were thinking the weather would be cooler during the evening since our entire wedding was outdoors but a few days before we decided to take them off, which saved us money and it ended up being in the 70s during the evening so there was no need for them. Overall we are very pleased with Kristi and a rental connection!

Our wedding was a little over a month ago and it was all outdoors so we needed to make sure the lighting was perfect. Bob was patient and just completely on top of it. The lighting was gorgeous, the setup was perfect, and there were no issues at all with anything. We loved working such understanding and patient people and are grateful for their hard work in making sure that our wedding looked beautiful. Thank you!!!

I just had my wedding and was thrilled with A Rental Connection! Their service was flawless. Julie was very kind and easy to work with. I met with her and we looked at swatches together and if felt like she was giving me all the time in the world. The night went on without a problem and everything I rented was pristine and exactly what I wanted, even the last minute emergency orders!

At first I thought they were a little over priced but, they are not. If you break everything down, it’s really worth it.
Their customer service is pretty amazing. I had to change and add onto my order more than a hand full of times and Bob was always so helpful about it. When I thought I was being a pain, he reassured me that it was totally normal.
Julie also showed me to the showroom and helped me pick out the last min details. She’s the sweetest person on earth.
They are worth it. Invest in them because they know your venue more than you’ll ever imagine and they will be there if there’s an emergency. (AKA RAIN)

I came here to get some pricing because I wanted to throw a party of about 100 people. Their pricing was a little too high for my taste, especially because there are many other places that offer the same thing for less. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would ever use their services. But the upside is that they have tons of options and you can most likely find what you are looking for if you don’t mind higher end pricing.

Such professional and organized team to work with. Beautiful show room and lots of options. Very flexible and sweet management team. Loaded and unloaded my car with everything. The process was a breeze and I would def go back for our future parties!

A Rental Connection was simply awesome! My wife and I were introduced to them by our caterer (Dean’s Catering). And what a wonderful connection indeed. Great little showroom and excellent personalized service. They had everything we needed and more for our wedding. And all of the items were in beautiful condition. From the linens to the glassware and the dishes to the dance floor it was all perfect! Our rental consultant Alex was really wonderful too… patient and very skilled in putting together all of our selections. She helped us stay on budget without compromising our vision. When it came time for the delivery, setup and breakdown their team was on time and professional. Definitely check ‘em out! They helped make our wedding a dream come true!

this is one of several rental companies I interviewed for my birthday bash to serve 125 – 150 party guests. They were wonderful to work with, easy going and open to changes. Their setup and tear down was perfect. My guests were very impressed!!! I would have them do all my parties. Oh, the price was very very reasonable and they outdid themselves. Thank you.

A rental connection could have been a five star review if they had been a little better with customer service.
I worked with Julie, who was fine. She was polite enough on the phone and sent the contracts in a reasonable time.
The day of the event, tables were scheduled to be dropped off at noon. By two I was calling to see what was going on, since I had not heard from anyone. They finally arrived at two thirty. It wouldn’t have been a big deal except that no one had called or emailed anything to say they would be late. This was disappointing. If they had informed me of the later time I could have prepared a little better with everything else going on.
I understand that the contract said any time between 7am and 430 pm, but if you are going to be over 2 hours late, give a window instead of saying an exact time. My big day was stressful enough without worrying where the tables were and if the driver got lost. Better communication definitely needed.

We were referred to Bob at A Rental Connection by Michelle at Hummingbird Nest Ranch for our wedding there. He was knowledgeable, professional and really listened to what we had in mind. He really help us with our vision of how we wanted to our wedding décor to look.
We had to make numerous changes throughout the wedding planning process, and he was really flexible. Very easy to work with, and reasonably priced.
And the day of the wedding, everything looked amazing.

Michelle had assured me that he was reliable, understood the concept of budgets and would never lead a client astray in terms of mapping out absolute needs to build a space from the ground up.
Bob was exactly everything she said and more. I can see why he’s a preferred vendor at Hummingbird. He’s so easy to work with, super pleasant and very patient. I was worried when I first visited his showroom because I knew the cost of all the rentals would be the dealbreaker for me and my fiancé at the time, in terms of whether or not we could afford to build our wedding from scratch.
Bob knew every detail and nuance of the venue and had the routine down pat. I trusted him implicitly and felt confident about choosing him for all my rentals from generators to market lights, gobos, beautiful wooden dance floors (he made sure I didn’t get parquet =D), lounge furniture, textiles, platforms, barware, chandeliers, trash cans and way too much more to mention here. When I provided the quotes I’d received to my wedding coordinators they were highly impressed by how competitive the prices were. Needless to say, they did not second guess A Rental Connection as my choice.

Bob is beyond amazing! From the moment I met him he was so nice and easy to work with. Even though I changed my rental order a billion times and emailed him at all times of the day, he was always smiling and super accommodating. Their inventory is amazing and all the rentals made my wedding so beautiful and memorable! I would highly highly recommend A-​rental connection!

These guys are the best. I’ve been using A-​Rental Connection for about 6 or 7 years — everything from big parties with tents, lighting and dance floors, to simple parties where I just need to rent 15 chairs. The service is always amazing, the people who work there are super nice, efficient and professional, their pricing is always great… As the other reviewer said, I can’t praise them enough. Highly, highly recommended.
