We all like good mithai but it is more special when the people serving the us are just as nice! I have seen this family business grow overtime and I am not surprised at all that they are growing. They make quality sweets and food, they are also genuinely nice folks. I do hope that they would treat their customers as family rather than just customers. I encourage you to shop their for sure. Lastly, do try their chai!

I’m updating my review because I just found out that Jalebi Junction is now Officially Baba Sweets, and they’ve also recently expanded! You’ll still find them in the same location but they’ve got a new store front and now serve hot Indian food and you can DINE-IN! Dining area is decently sized and was neat and clean. Prices appeared very reasonable for both food and sweets. We bought a pound of mixed sweets at they range from $ 5−6/lb depending on the item, and for the quality, that’s a great price. We also bought a pound of jalebi for $ 3−4/lb and they were fantastic. We’ll stop by soon and dine-in for some savory food. They still offer their complimentary chai and had some salty snacks this time too.

Well, this time I really saw a positive nice attitude and it was a surprise to see they have put in effort to make customers follow line. The doors are fixed too. I guess they really paid attention to my previous review and addressed the issues. The food seems better too. Now this place is becoming likable to me. I really had good experience when I visited them last week. Now I would recommend this place for sure.

Best Indian sweets shop in southern California without a doubt! If you go Friday– Sunday they have entrees that you can buy like paneer and Shola. With naans and pakora as well. I would recommend everyone and anyone to go here. Prices are very good and the food is excellent. They do big orders too!

My family and I have gone here for the better part of the last two years, typically as often as 2 – 4 times per month. This is the single best Indian restaurant my family and I have been to, EVER. The reason is not only because of their rich, flavorful vegetarian dishes, their reasonable prices, or even their incredible selection of freshly made pastries. It’s more than that: The entire family – Harman(the son who is pretty much the face of the business), his parents and his grandparents – are all very kind, gracious, and warm. They always make you feel so welcome, like you’re a part of their family. Their food is made with love and every one of them has a unique generosity of spirit. Although our family doesn’t get to go to Baba’s as often as we’d like these days due to some family health problems, we seize the moment whenever we can. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is everything you want in a business you patronize. The prices are fair, the food is fresh, the people are wonderful, and the smiles are sincere. In a world where rudeness and poor service seem to have become the norm, you can’t help but admire this family and the humble kindness and patience they show to all of their customers. Over the last couple years, my family and I are most grateful for the many great experiences we have had enjoying the amazing food and delectable pastries at this family-owned restaurant. If you want glitz and glamor and high prices, go elsewhere. If you want outstanding food and pastries, and service that makes you feel like a member of the family, then you definitely must experience Baba Sweets.

These guys are awesome. If you are looking for delicious authentic Indian sweets, this is the place you can blindly trust. I have never been disappointed by the quality of sweets. My guests enjoyed it too. It’s very hard to find such a good Indian sweets shop in the valley. Don’t get fooled by the shanty location area. If you enter inside, its very neat and clean. I wish they scale up their food offerings. I liked there chole bhature, samosa too. They have special food on Friday — Sunday. One little request is that it will be great if they can extend their operational hours till 9:30pm.

If you’re looking for fresh and affordable Indian sweets, you’ve found it. This place has the best sweets and customer service out of all of the Indian stores in the valley. There are a wide variety of sweets including rusgollah, ladoo, and gulob jamon. If you’re completely unsure of what to get, you can ask to taste the sweets before choosing. Each sweet varies in price but generally it is $ 5-$ 6/pound. This is SO cheap compared to other places. What makes this place special(other than the fact that it’s cheap), is that they hand make all of the sweets themselves. Hence why this place is so popular. Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for REAL Indian sweets!

This is some of the best north Indian food I have had in the USA. It is home cooking at best. Folks who run this place have great heart and they are all about feeding hungry customer with some lip smacking food. The chhole bhatura is amazing, garlic nan is amazing, dal makhani is out of this world. Sweets are very good too. This is a hole in a wall kind of place and do not expect any ambiance. Parking is ample. Food is AMAZING!!! I have eaten 3 times already on at this place on this weekend.

This is the best place and best people who welcome with whole hearted smile. this is the only place where I don’t see price to buy any item. After two visits I realize I don’t need to check for the price of an item because there will be some reason for that price and it will be the cheapest which you don’t find any where else Please encourage business men like this in to this earth

Nestled in a small parking lot my dad took me here one day to buy some indian sweets. And it looks like it should not even be there. The location is so random. I looked at my dad like why are we here, where are you taking me? And I enter this small indian store and see sweets and fresh Chana, pakoras and samosas. It looked so good but I was too full to eat anything. But I did have the chai because it is free! Yes free! And I normally don’t like indian sweets but these were good. The gulab jamun was amazing and melted in my mouth. The sweets taste homemade. And this is probably because it is family owned and they know what’s up! If anyone in the valley or near want Indian sweets for their next party or in general this is the place! The owners are really nice too! The food tastes so authentic! And I know for a fact that it is! Do yourself a favor and eat amazing Punjabi food here!
