Every once in a while, my boyfriend and I will have to stop playing video games and leave the house. Easier said than done! If we agree to come here– even to browse– it’s much more pleasant to be out and about.
This is a medium sized store (I’ve been in some cramped as hell GameStops. Not fun.) that is well stocked on games. It’s usually empty during the day so that means nice conversations and extra attention from the employees here. All the employees are superb. The customer service doesn’t feel forced– You don’t feel like they’re grinning and bearing it or hiding eye rolls when you have a question or maybe have wrong information about something.
The prices themselves aren’t great. If you can’t buy it on Steam, It’s only worth it to buy pre-​owned from here. With the PowerUp membership, the extra discount is lame, BUT the extra coupons and extra percentages you get for trade ins help a lot. There’s the occasional sale of Buy 2, Get 1 on preowned. Worth it for Nintendo games because they’re prices are constantly high.
The return policy on pre-​owned games is fine; 7 days to return of exchange for any reason. I’ve only had one game that didn’t work and they exchanged it quickly. Another time I had to return a game because the Granada Hills location put the wrong disc in the case. I came to this store because it’s closer than Granada– No problem exchanging the game for the correct one.
BONUS! Because this location is quiet and empty, it is very likely you’ll find those limited edition systems and games! I’ve gotten my limited edition Zelda Wii U, Zelda 3DSXL, and my boyfriend got his Yoshi 3DSXL from here. So if you’re having trouble finding it anywhere else, try here!

Thank you for the Wii Fit Balance Board! Pre-​owned was only $ 15, just clean that sucker up. I reserved online, and picked up in store; super simple. I just walked in, the grabbed it, and I left.
I will give a recommendation, they should be sure to remove batteries before storing, as almost all the AA batteries were exploded and corded the battery bay.

I called the day when the new halo MMC came out and i believe her name was sara answered the phone i wanted to know a couple things about the midnight release she answered every question i had and also let me know that the game was being released at 9pm rather than midnight Which i appreciate a lot haha
Later that night i swung by around 9 got in line 5 maybe 10 min later i was at the register and chris helped me out with halo and even got me to check out the new game stop credit card wich is perfect because im going to be using it alot vary nice and profesional people. Unlike the topanga store… I dont mind driving the extra 5 – 10 min to get this level of service! Thanks guys will be back again

Very well managed and clean, the staff are kind and helpful. I’ve bought games here during sales and promotions before and they’ve always been good with stock.
Really happy with their courteous service and no awkward questions for being a female customer that I’ve experienced at other game stores. Major bonus.

Came in here to buy a used PS3 controller.
The staff was friendly and the store was pretty empty. They charged $ 38 for a controller. Total rip off because they pay $ 14.
Anyways, I get home and take the controller out. I figure that there would be some minor testing on the controller done.
Turns out, the joystick on the controller sticks and stays where you move it. This is not how it’s supposed to work, clearly.
I’m surprised no check was done on the controller to even see if the joy stick moves properly. Absolutely no checking the device you want to trade in — can be a huge plus if you have some broken stuff — can be a downside if you want to buy used stuff.
I went to the store an hour later to exchange the broken controller.
But the end result was positive. Someone else was selling a ps3 back to GameStop and they had 4 controllers. I only needed one so I said I will pay him more than what GameStop offers.
GameStop wanted to give him $ 14 for the controller. I have him $ 20 cash and had a new controller.
I returned the busted one without a problem.
In the end, I bought a used controller from GameStop for $ 40, it was broken. I returned it, and someone was trying to sell a controller to GameStop. I outbid GameStop, got the controller for $ 20 from the person and came out winning after initially getting a broken controller.
Minus one star for not checking the used equipment before buying it.
Minus one star for having a profit margin over 200%. wtf GAMESTOP help me out here. Don’t be soooo greedy.

Love this GameStop! Employees are all so friendly and extremely knowledgable on all the games and offers. It always a pleasure shopping at this location and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a excellent shopping experience. :)

It’s Gamestop… they’re all basically the same… except in terms of the selection of games.
I am a huge nerd… but I tend to like playing video games. Recently, actually, I haven’t played as many as I usually do… since I’ve been playing «real life»… hahaha. but I don’t know…
I think I got Persona 4 from this store… probably one of my favorite games of all time. Loved Teddy and Nanako! Okay, my inner geekiness is scaring me now!
This place is okay in my book… but I’ll travel to any of them to find the game that I’m looking for!

Good location. I like this better than the Topanga one for 1 Main reason: The times I go, there is this one employee who is always very helpful. I do not remember his name, but he has been there for a while.
Whenever I have any questions, he does everything he can to help me out.
The store itself is clean and well organized. Though whenever I go, I know what I’m looking for and am able to get in and out quickly.
Gamestop though, is a bit overpriced compared to Amazon :/

I like Game Stops in general. The used selection is good and the membership bonuses are pretty good. This particular location is close to me so it’s convenient. Today the staff helped my to locate a local repair place for my 360.

I’m not a gamer by any means. I like games that don’t really require much dexterity and that aren’t incredibly hard. That pretty much limits me to the Mario games (but not Supersmash Brothers). I will, however, go down on record saying that Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the best game ever.
That being said, I wasn’t entirely excited to go into Game Stop; but it is near my house and we finally decided we were getting the Wii.
The customer service dudes (and they totally are dudes!) were nice and patient with us. The one guy was extremely patient considering there was a screeching 7 year old, who, every 2 minutes, needed to ask a question:
«Excuse me! Excuse me! Excuse me! How much is…»
I’m glad his parental units taught him «excuse me,» but they didn’t really teach him what it means. It was particularly annoying since it appeared as if the boy’s father was there with him and he didn’t explain to him the concept of waiting rather than screaming across the store, «Excuse me!»
The store itself is fairly small but has a decent selection. The most popular games are often sold out, but hey, that’s to be expected. They have a lot of used items, which can mean a great deal of savings. They do like to sell you the ‘membership,’ which gives you free magazines (not really free, of course) and discounts on used merchandise. The guy didn’t ‘sell’ it to us so much as he just put it on our bill. But, he did tell us about it and, looking at the receipt, we ended up saving more than the membership cost, so I guess it was alright. I’ll probably go in there within the next year and buy a used game or two, so it’ll be fine in the long run. I just don’t like the idea of it being ‘forced’ on us. The dudes were cool though.

This made me rush my purchase right along, but I guess he was atleast saying excuse me, right?
Anyway, it is a pretty small store however its used selection is pretty good. I finally broke down and purchased a Wii so it too can make me feel really fat when I play Wii fit! The sales rep was very helpful and told us we can save money by buying everything used. We did and everything worked fine.
