Piano By Julie

I love Julie! And the voice teacher as well. My daughter started here recently, at 5 ½ years old, and I was so thrilled at how Julie was patient with my daughter’s wandering interest. One of the books she uses comes with a CD, and as soon as I started playing that in the car all the time, practicing became a bit easier for my daughter. I feel Julie really tries every angle to interest the kids, even using the iPad at the end of each lesson to guide kids through rhythmic games. My daughter also started improving immensely in her reading and writing at school once she started piano lessons. It really was quite profound — and true what the studies say about music lessons improving academic performance! We haven’t actually taken a voice lesson yet, but in speaking with the voice teacher, I can say I am completely taken with her enthusiasm and supportive attitude towards the kids and their musical development. I drive out of my way to take lessons here. Don’t hesitate to go with Julie or any of her staff!
