I recently made my first visit to this N Spa location and I had an enjoyable visit. This is a pedicure review although the Spa offers facials, massage and a whole host of other treatments as well. Maria gave me a great pedicure! Whenever I want an little extra pampering, or have a gift card, I treat myself to an occasional N Spa pedicure. There are only three Nordstrom Spas in California: South Coast Plaza, Canoga Park, and San Francisco and only 14 in the entire Country. Compared to other Nail Spas I have been to, what sets Nordstrom apart is their product line up of foot soaks, mineral oils and lotions, etc. which they use during the spa treatment. I love the way the products smell and the foot soaks and lotions feel very luxurious and leave me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. They also offer complimentary hot tea and water to guests. I don’t venture out very often to get my nails done because truth be told I can not find a nail spa that I Iike enough to regularly frequent and I am super picky. I usually just maintain my own pedicure at home or occasionally splurge at N Spa maybe 3 – 4 times a year max. After my last few just«ok» visits to the other Nordstrom Spa location at South Coast Plaza, due to some nail tech turn over the past few years, I decided to try out this location. I had an excellent pedicure service by Maria. My experience was definitely more in line with what I have come to expect at Nordstrom Spa. Maria was all too sweet to say my winter feet were not in bad shape even when they were clearly in need of some TLC. She scrubbed, buffed, filed, clipped, polished, massaged(and spent a decent amount of time with each step including filing and massage which as of recent has been lacking at the other location) and I came out feeling good as new. 1 hour of bliss for $ 45. Maria also has a great personality and kept me smiling. It was fun to hear about some of the runway, print and celebrity nail tech work she has in her portfolio. Ambience wise, the spa is somewhat modern but small, and nothing overly exciting. There are only 3 pedicure chairs in the spa. Service requires an appointment and is the best way to reserve a time slot and technician although I have called in and been able to reserve same day appointments as well, it just depends on how busy they are. Park on the third level of the parking structure next to the Nordstrom glass door entrance and you will find a few parking spots just outside of the Spa reserved especially for Spa guests, it’s nice to be able to walk right in from the parking garage.

Best relaxation massage from Susan! All my knots and pain melted away! If you are interested in Moroccan oil, there’s a whole variety and gift sets to purchase. I didn’t try the manicures or pedicures but it looked relaxing and I saw someone bring their own nail polish. I like how the place is small and private.

Every thanksgiving the ladies in my family head to Nordstrom Spa and every year I leave completely relaxed and rejuvenated. ALL of the staff is friendly, professional, and accommodating. The facials and massages are worth every penny! I can’t wait until next year!

One star for the unassuming location within a big Nordstrom store. Another star for the calming and welcoming environment. A star for being able to accommodate same-day pedicure AND massage appointments. Another star for Susan Y, a great massage therapist.

Great experience every time… In fact so good it is now my go to salon for brows, lashes, tans, and nails so I am there every two weeks without fail. Very helpful and accommodating at the front desk. Ellen is the one to ask for for nails as she is truly excellent. Full OPI, Essie, and Deborah Lipmann lines. Nayria does beautiful lashes and she is quick at it which is awesome because if you get lashes you know it is a serious time commitment. If you are in the valley this is the place to go.

Maria is the best for mani/pedis. Nayra for facials and waxing! The front desk is super sweet and helpful.

The best massage I’ve had in my LIFE was from Andrea at Spa Nordstrom Topanga. The deepest of deep tissue massages. She’s the ONLY masseuse who knows how to massage the lower body. Your legs will be in a good kind of pain. Perfect for runners, half marathoners, marathoners. I don’t think she’s working there anymore though. If she is. I’ll be back. Andrea if you’re reading this, let me know where you went!

I’m actually an employee at the spa but there’s no reason why I can’t review my coworkers because I’m also a client here. There’s no sauna or jacuzzi here, just treatment rooms each with showers. I’ve had my nails done here many times and I love it. I’ve always been the type to go the cheapest nail salons, never understood why you’d have to pay more than $ 15 for a pedicure. Well, now I know why because the mani/pedis are amazing here. I’ve mostly had my nails done by Maria and Jessica and they’ve done an amazing job. They are very thurrough and clean your feet up in every way. The products they use are of good quality and their massages make me melt. I haven’t had a full manicure or pedicure from the other nail technicians but from what I’ve seen they do a great job also. The estheticians are great. The star esthetician there is Naira and she’s amazing. I used to work for a skin care institue who served big time celebrities and i have to say Naira is ten times the esthetician that other lady was. She really knows what she’s doing, unfortunately she’s too busy most of the time to give me facials so I usually go to Jessica or Nan and I’ve been very happy with their facials. And for the massage Susan is awesome! I usually like really deep pressure and that sometimes takes away from the relaxation. Susan is able to mix a pretty deep massage with relaxation. I’m not one to relax easily to the point where I can fall asleep especially with the pressure my muscles require to unwind, and Susan knows how to do that. I’ve had many many massage therapists work on me in the past 12 years and Susan is definately one of the best.

I had a gift certificate, so I treated myself to a pedicure(fairly $$$), but it was wonderful. Because of a disability, I can’t climb up to their spa chairs. However, this is the only high-end place I’ve been that doesn’t make me feel like it’s an imposition or problem to make accommodations for me. I really appreciate the attitude as well as the calm and peaceful atmosphere at the spa. Maria gave me an excellent pedicure.

This definitely isn’t a place to go escape for the day; it isn’t that kind of spa. However, if you want a relaxing treatment that refreshes you, then go here. I stopped by during Spa Week to have an hour long facial performed by Vicki. The Clarins Spa at Nordstrom, at least for this facial, doesn’t use steam and doesn’t do any of the painful(although effective) extractions. I was wrapped in a comfy robe and comfortably cocooned in a heated recliner bed as Vicki massaged my face with wonderful Clarins products for an hour. In between the wonderful products being applied to my skin, there were also amazingly relaxing hand, arm, and neck massages happening. I literally almost fell asleep a few times. I was very impressed with how clean, clear, and refreshed my skin looked, especially considering that there were no extractions. My pores have never looked smaller! Days later, I can still see and feel the effects of the amazing work Vicki did. I will be returning to see her soon. You should definitely make an appointment!
