Went to this place for a party, buffet menu. The chicken was boiled, the tossed salad(which they ran out of) was fresh from the bag, they had plenty of celery plates, lots of celery plates, very poorly prepared Utica greens(way too salty, inedible), and lots of celery platters. The food was awful. Did I mention the celery? Want a glass of water? NO! They basically charged me $ 20 to sit on the deck. This place is awful. The least they could do is go to Heids and bring over hot dogs or see if a neighbor would load them the use of a gas grill for the chicken. Go to Heids if you are hungry, good food, inexpensive, better prepared, and you can sit inside or outside too. I don’t think Heids has celery platters though.

Brisket is worth eating! My other had his on a sandwich, I had mine in a loaded Texas baked potatoes. Decent prices, decent food. Staff was all pleasant.

Great burgers, awesome old building = great atmosphere! Price point very reasonable. Very friendly staff. A most if you are passing through Canon City!
