I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews of this wonderful place! It is part of the Lakes Region Community College culinary program, and its students cook and serve the delicious meals. The menu changes, but for a mere $ 9(!!!) you will get bread, appetizer, main dish, and a small dessert. I had the corn chowder and pork loin, which was seasoned to perfection and very tender. Others had the swordfish with mango salsa and it was delicious also. Dessert was an amazing chocolate mousse. Note that they only accept cash here, and that reservations are recommended, although we were able to get a table as walk-ins. They have limited days of the week that they are open, also, so call for information.

As this is fairly close to home, my parents tend to make this a destination for occasions such as Mothers Day or just a Sunday Brunch. They are open for Brunch and dinner, and while I think I’ve been for dinner once or twice now, it was some time ago and I don’t completely recall everything I had, but I do recall having some pretty fantastic steak. I’ve had items such as the crème brûlée french toast, covered in that thin sugary crust and topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Brunches begin with a fresh, warm sugared donut and a small plate of fruit before your entrée is brought out. I’ve also had memorable experiences with the maple crème brûlée french toast and the smokehouse omelet made with locally smoked meats and cheeses. I think the french toast ran about $ 13 and same for the omelet, but more expensive items run about $ 17 for the lobster eggs benedict. Everything here is absolutely amazing.
