Sunset Mountain Fish & Game Club

This is a nice range. Very far out of the way for me, but those in Concord should definitely take a look. It’s a much larger range than I’m used to, which could get really dangerous, but they have a system of lights and intercoms that seems to keep everyone safe.
We just shot at the far end– intended for short-​distance pistol firing. The targets are unlike those I’ve ever seen… you actually have to pick up a 10ft plank of wood and drag it on to the range to your desired distance. I was really glad I had two men with me to help out… I would probably still be there trying to get them to fit into the little wooden slots.
There is an indoor range too, which is a nice touch, but I didn’t manage to get in there.
Note on bathrooms… use the ones you have at home. Outhouse doesn’t even begin to describe them.
