For a Friday night they were pretty slow so I wouldve expected to get our drinks faster, but the food made up for it! Our waitress was kind and prompt with getting refills! Our appetizer was free for checking in on here so I thought that was cool! The only downside to the visit was we were sitting for a good 15 min without drinks at first… but that was the bartenders fault.

This visit was disappointing compared to our last one made at the Applebee’s in Northville( ). We were seated promptly, business was fairly light, but there seemed to be many servers out and about so I wasn’t the least concerned about our service. I should’ve been though. We were seated at a booth/high table combo that was within the vicinity of the bar. I guess this means that the bar tender is your server, which sucks because he’s too busy making drinks for not only the people at the bar, but the servers who have patrons ordering alcohol as well. We ordered some wings(sweet & spicy Asian sauce I believe) for an app. It seemed to take a bit longer than expected to come out of the kitchen, but they were hot and very tasty. However, they were delivered by a runner who failed to bring us any small plates to use. We had to flag somebody down for that. Then we started to eat and realized that other than our lap napkins, we had nothing to wipe our hands with. Had to flag somebody down to get napkins and wetnaps. These are things that I consider«no brainers» to deliver to a table when serving wings, ribs, etc… Although our official server. er bartender. did come to check in I think once after initially taking our order, I just felt as though we were an afterthought. Runners delivered our food, and of course had no idea who got what item. Have things changed in the restaurant industry or do companies no longer stress how important the small things are — like not requiring the customer to raise their hand and yell«me» to get their meal or checking in within 5 minutes of being served to verify that there is nothing wrong with the dishes. The entrees themselves were just bland. I got the crispy brewhouse chicken which is fried chicken with mash and stout gravy. It was as though they used no seasoning whatsoever other than salt. My husband said the same thing about his bourbon street chicken and shrimp. Our kids had the fried shrimp and cheese pizza off the kids menu which were alright I imagine, but they didn’t gobble them up like they did the grilled cheese from the prior visit. Near the end of our meal we saw an interactive screen on the table. We assumed it was for playing the trivia only, but then saw that you could order food, drink or request a server with it. Perhaps this is why nobody came over. Were we expected to signal when we needed something? If so, it would’ve been nice had somebody told us. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and will unlikely return.

Overall a good experience. Came for trivia night and half off apps. I ordered the sweet potato fries which came with three different dips, each of which were good. Very good atmosphere on a Thursday night. Nothing too special, about what you would expect from an Applebee’s. I recommend stopping at this location if you are an Applebee’s fan. Cheers

I was recently at Applebee’s and was extremely disappoint with the service. I was there at a later time of night and there were not a lot of people there. Despite this, the service was pretty slow considering it wasn’t busy at all. The food was good, but simply took too long to get.

Have eaten here multiple times. They recently renovated/updated the menu and it’s great. We have been offered chips and salsa when we’ve sat at the bar and it’s been a nice touch. They have great happy hour specials, drinks and appetizers as well as burgers, sandwiches, chicken, steak, salads, and soups. The staff have always been very nice. They have a great car side to go option if you want to pick up a take out order.

For the price you pay, they have amazing food and the service is always reliable! Never did I see my glass empty, they’re always prompt at keeping your drinks topped off and getting your food out quickly and delicously!

I measure by three different things in comparison to Taco Bell: DECOR: Nothing particularly special about this Applebee’s in particular. I think they look all the same personally. It’s just a restaurant with booths, not too much decoration or anything. I have seen Taco Bells better decorated than Applebee’s and I think that’s saying a lot! No stars for just being ordinary. I think whether it’s more décor on the walls or being holiday decorative there could be more done! SERVICE: The service at this Applebee’s is pretty good. Drinks were always refilled. Food came timely and hot. They were always checking on us, while not being intrusive or coming too often. A star for the service! FOOD: The problem is I really am not a big fan of Applebee’s. I have tried many things and can’t find something that makes me go wow. I usually stick with the appetizers as it’s hard to mess those up. The pretzel and beer cheese is the appetizer I recommend the most. The other appetizers are just okay. Only one star for food. FINALVERDICT: Is Taco Bell better? YES. Applebee’s doesn’t really have very good food. I’d say Taco Bell food is better. Not only that, but Taco Bell is also cheaper. So for the caloric intake and satisfaction it’s about equal between Applebee’s and Taco Bell. The difference is price. So why waste money at Applebee’s when you can be just as satisfied at Taco Bell? If you are a couple, individual, a group of friends do me a favour: get some drive thru at Taco Bell and make it a Netflix night. It’s a lot more quiet and entertaining, plus less social interaction! Excellent~!

Chicken Wontons Are sooo delish! Love the mini sliders, the sauce is by far the icing on the cake. Speaking of icing, the caramel min baked pretzels were Amazing!!!

Dinner on Labor Day was poor. They seemed busier than they expected and our order took a long time. When it arrived it was wrong and cold, obviously sitting in the kitchen for a long time. I asked for the manager to get help with our meal. She was too busy to help and did not acknowledge there was a problem. We won’t go back to this restaurant.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by a very polite young man named Travis. We had a couple of questions about the menu which he all the answers to. We ordered the premium margarita(comes with an olive), not really a fan. The clubhouse grille was good, would order again. Would return and ask to be seated in Travis’ section again.

The new Southwest Shrimp Fettuccine is a smaller portion than you’d expect and only comes with one bread stick, not toasted garlic bread like the menu says. Waitress was a bit weird, never looked at me. Talked directly to my girlfriend the whole time as if I wasn’t there, even when taking my order.

Prof’s to Applebee’s for starting the whole«Veteran’s eat free» on Veteran’s Day. I went in and ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, and it was served up Hot, Fresh, and delicious. They even kept me occupied with free chips & salsa while I waited. Everyone was in a great mood, and you could tell the staff was having a good time!

This Applebee’s is always clean, has good service, friendly wait staff and the food is good like pretty much all Applebee’s in the chain. The menu is extensive and we’ve been happy with our selections and this latest visit was no exception. The French Onion soup was very good. The Chili Cheese Nachos were very good as well. I would have preferred some dipping sauce, but we were half way finished before it came to mind. Th entries were well prepared and delicious. I’m giving them 4 stars for doing dinner well.

Great service for being a Saturday evening. The waitstaff would stop by often to check but no too often to be bothersome. The appetizer took longer than expect to come(ordered boneless wings) but it was a Saturday evening though. Food was good but i feel like there should have been more fries with my sandwich though.

Maybe I’ve been away from Canton for too long, but this place is not a 5-star restaurant. Yes, the place is a lot better looking, inside and out. The renovations really modernized the exterior and really made the interior an extension of the community. However, the service wasn’t all that great for a fairly slow Tuesday night. We had to wait at least 8 minutes before the waitress came for drink orders. Understandable if you’ve got a busy night, but Christ, it’s just water. The timing problems continued through the meal; it took about 25 minutes to get appetizers. We ordered the Spinach Artichoke dip 10 minutes ahead of the Chicken Wonton Tacos, and both arrived at the same time. Both were delicious, but I could have done with more chips on the Spin-dip. We were still working on appetizers when the entrees came out not even 10 minutes later. That’s just amateur in my book. I will say, the chicken was done fantastically. I had the Chili Lime Chicken, which had a good mix of spice and sweetness. No complaints from anyone else at the table in regards to their food. The staff may be kind, and the restaurant may have a neighborhood feel, but don’t be afraid to go outside the box. There are plenty better places to eat in the Plymouth-Canton area.

They newly remodeled this Applebee’s from the outside and it looks very nice. The staff is always really friendly, very helpful and Attentive. The food is almost always good too. The Crispy Orange Chicken bowl is very good, as well as many other items on the menu. The also have dishes that are Weight Watchers Certified and Under 550 Calories. Applebee’s may be a big company with many locations but it feels like it is local. It has photos of events in Canton as well as signs cheering for the local high schools. Plymouth, Salem and Canton. They do this in every Applebee’s which is nice. If it’s your birthday, they sing to you and you get a free dessert.(Just remember to say it’s you or someone Else’s birthday when it is.)

The staff at this restaurant are very well trained and very friendly. I have eaten here for many years, at least once a month. I have never had my order messed up, nor had something I didn’t like. They offer a weight watchers menu, if on a diet there are choices that you can enjoy. The booths are roomy and the menu has a lot of variety. I like the lunch menu, you can choose 2 items that come in a perfect size portion for lunch for 5.99. My favorite is the tomato basil soup and chicken oriental salad combo. The Chicken oriental salad is my favorite menu item, you can request grilled or fried chicken. I also get the dressing on the side and add it myself. They have several tables able to hold bigger crowds, and will push together tables for you, too. They sing happy birthday to celebrators. They have the game up on flat screens around the restaurant. The Crispy Orange Chicken Bowl and Chicken Broccoli Pasta Alfredo Bowl have long been favorites of my teens. This is a good place to come celebrate after a game, show, or day of shopping. They have takeout, with reserved parking for it. Always run into people I know here because everyone likes this Applebees. It is also conveniently located across the street from a great theater — Canton 7 and close to shopping.
