Unbelievable rudeness. I walked in to deposit a check on a weekday while the bank was completely empty of customers. I stood patiently at the counter while the tellers ignored me entirely + carried on with their chatting amongst each other. Eventually the only lady situated to help customers turned around in her chair + said, ‘I’ll be right with you,’ gave me a look like I had three heads + asked while slowly shaking her head as though I had no business being there, ‘is there something I can do for you?’ to which I replied, ‘I’m just depositing this check,’ holding it up in my hand. ‘Oh,’ she replied frowning, ‘I was right in the middle of a conversation.’ Is this real life?! I responded with a shocked smile, ‘My apologies… didn’t mean to interrupt(which, by the way, I didn’t. Like I said, I was waiting quietly + patiently).’ She responds in all seriousness, ‘That’s OK.’ At this point my jaw must have hit the floor. First of all, how dare you? You work in a customer service environment, meaning the customer is your first priority. You’re being paid to promptly + courteously conduct yourself during business hours. Furthermore I’m entrusting your institution with my finances + you can’t even pretend to be nice to me? I’ve never been treated with such rudeness anywhere. The teller, who has been there since I was a child, literally made it a point to insinuate that she valued her ‘conversation’ more than my business. So sorry to disturb your conversation, Teller With the Black + White Bowl-Cut. Heaven forbid I attempt banking mid afternoon on a Wednesday. Jesus.

I am writing this from the drive thru of the bank because each time I come here service is so horrible. Banking = customer service and folks here act like you are bothering them each time you try to do banking here. Very sad as I much prefer to do business with smaller banks but it’s time to go elsewhere.

Love Bank of Canton! I have never had a problem with their services and I’ve been banking with them since 2005. This location has a very convenient drive through ATM as well as the traditional drive through teller. Also, there is plenty of parking in the back lot. The interior is also quite charming. Service is always friendly and helpful. They have convenient Saturday morning hours, but it can get busy during this time. Overall, however, I am very satisfied customer.
