Don’t waste your time or money here. Place looks nice at first, but if you look close it’s rather nasty, right along with the barbers attitudes. I came here about 2 yrs ago while visiting my parents in Cummings and it was a totally different atmosphere. I only recognized one of the barbers, she is a mixed race woman and the only nice one in the building. I went in on a Saturday knowing that it would be busy, to my suprise they weren’t, the lady that I recognized was the only one that was busy, and the only one that greeted me. There were 4 or 5 other barbers standing around doing nothing, but when I asked if any of them could cut my hair I was told that they were all waiting on appts and that it would be 45 min. to an hour before I could be taken back. I couldn’t wait that long so I left, on my way out the door one of the barbers made a snide comment, that if I got my haircut somewhere else they would fix it for me but the price would be double and they all started laughing. Very rude and unprofessional. Won’t ever go back.

This is a nice barber shop with a late 1920s feel. The lady that cut my hair was friendly and paid attention to detail. The only quirky thing that caught my eye was the multiple signs that reminded people to keep kids quiet. I understand they want to maintain an adult atmosphere and that’s cool, but men with children in tow should know to leave them with someone before going.

Usually love the place, today had a bad experience and left after a hour w/o the haircut. They DON’T do RESERVATIONS on Sunday so even after a hour was 3 behind and could not be late for an appointment so I just left. Disappointed in how it was done. Guess I might have to find another similar place and go trolling on Unilocal.WHATEVER you do — expect a 90MINWAIT on SUNDAY since they don’t do RESERVATIONS.

For a man looking for a man’s man type of barbershop, it doesn’t get any better than this. Classic look and feel, good conversation, crisp cuts. The barbers certainly know how to cut your hair without making look like you just got a hair cut. It’s a little pricer than a Great Clips experience, but then again you get what you pay for. In my book $ 16 for a cut is well worth it for the experience. Highly recommended.

Awesome barber shop. Love the classic feel inside. Barbers are professional and do a great job. Wish there was a place like this in Atlanta!

I have been visiting Barker-Jackson for over 5 years now and it does not get any better than this. Stop going to the imitations and come visit a real barber. Attention to detail is what you will get along with good value. Jaret and David do a phenomenal job every time!

Excellent barber shop! I have been looking for a decent barber shop somewhere near home for a long time now, and I think I have finally found one! They keep this shop nice and clean(the way they should), and the décor is definitely intended toward a male audience. I came here on Saturday with my wife and son so that he and I could get haircuts. They took him back first and got him going, then took me back. This is the second time I have come by here, and they really do know how to cut hair. Additionally, while they certainly will take direction, they also make suggestions about things you may want to do or whatnot. I first came by here last November just before my wedding, and I was quite satisfied that time too. I’ll definitely be back, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a good barbershop in the Canton area!
