Best Cleaners

I dropped off couple of suits and a pair of pants that needed to be dry cleaned and tailored. After I showed the tailor what needed to be done, I passed my clothes to the lady at the counter. I asked «can you tell me what is the total“for the dry cleaning and the tailoring. I was told 58.50. When I went to pick up my clothes the girl at the cashier says $ 71.80. I told her that I was given a different price at drop-​off. I asked if anything additional was done and she couldn’t explain. She had a «smirk» the entire time I was talking to her and was not helpful at all. Never going there again. First and last time.
Advice: post your prices where every one can see them.
P.S why are you only taking coupons at drop off? Are you not performing the same services if people use coupons

Always do a good job! They can be a pain about coupons though. Always fast service in by 11 out by 4

I am a long-​time customer of Best Cleaners but finally decided to take my business elsewhere. There was not a single incident which caused me to leave but rather a history of sub-​par quality and customer service over the years. A few examples:
– shirts are often returned with stains, incorrect creases or damage. No note about the stain, etc and they charge you just the same.
— they do their best (pun intended) to not honor coupons. First i’m told that you must present the coupon at drop-​off. Then, when I do that, they claim to have lost the coupon and/​or never saw it. I have attempted to use coupons at least 5 times and they would never honor them.
— they are very resistant to fixing any of their mistakes and will often blame the customer for bringing them the stained shirt to be begin with. If you can’t remove a stain — just say so — but they try to hide it.
In all, Best Cleaners is just NOT worth the hassle. There are other places in town which respect customers.

I sent in my daughters brand new first communion dress just to be steamed straight. It came back with a missing snap, loose pearls, and the veil comb was melted beyond use. No one informed me of these things and I didnt have time to fix what they ruined. I will never use this Best cleaners again. I can not believe what they did to this dress. Horrible service.

In a nutshell, it’s a horrible cleaning service, and it’s not as cheap as $ 1.75 per clothing item as you can get it done elsewhere in the country. «Green» cleaning won’t do consumers much if they don’t clean the garments cleaner than when they are dropped off to be cleaned! I encountered 5 repeated times of garments not cleaned (same stains were not removed or indicated as attempted removed but remained stubborn) when dropping off my items. The manager & owner are aware of these repeated offenses, but have a nonchalant attitude. I definitely didn’t receive the «Best» cleaning service as possible… So, I have every reason not to bring my business to” Best”!

Good service and Quality (other than breaking my shirt buttons on occasion). Pricing is high along with all other dry cleaning in CT (nothing is cheap here). This location is conveniently located. Hours of service are convenient. Generally a good shop. I’d put it on the average side of what you’d expect of the chain.

Really helped me out in a pinch. Great customer service.
