China Wok is one of the better Chinese takeout choices in Canton. We have ordered from them several times and the food quality has always been great and the service has always been super friendly.
When we have called in order we have been quoted 15 minutes each time, but it is usually more like 20 or 25 minutes for them to get our order made; but that is because they cook to order ensuring fresh and hot food.
Some of the food we have ordered has included great soups (Hot & Sour, Egg Drop, Wonton), delicious crab rangoon, and spicy & flavorful General Tso chicken.

We moved to the Sixes area about 18 months ago and were ordering our takeout from a different Chinese restaurant but their food seemed average (bland and not freshly made).
So we switched to China Wok and have experienced a great increase in quality (nicely flavored and definitely fresh «hot off the Grill»). Usually ready for pickup within 15 minutes of our phone call. After several meals from China Wok I feel very comfortable writing this positive review.

Exceptionally fresh Chinese takeout! My kids love the vegetable lo mein and fried dumplings. I love the sesame chicken (never dry or over cooked). We also love their soups and broccoli with beef. Spring rolls are deliciously fresh. It’s a family owned small shop and they are very friendly. They do have a very small dining area, but I’d opt for take-​away. The food is definitely the best Chinese we’ve found in Cherokee.

Good quick Chinese food, we order about 1 a month and always enjoy!
Always ask for all white meat when ordering the chicken, I’ve gotten a lot of dark meat when I have forgotten in the past.
I recommend this place when you want to eat out but don’t want to go far.

I have been disappointed with the local take out Chinese in the area. Tried this place tonight and it was exactly what I wanted. Very tasty. The chicken wasn’t too dry. It was traditional take out Chinese. (no weird suprises) excellent price and quick. Had the General Tso’s. Perfect!

Absolutely love this little place! It’s a no frills Chinese food joint that has a couple of small tables and that’s it. The locals all know about this little place and everyone orders the food to go. Nothing better on a Friday night with a good movie.
I have eaten here countless times and never had a bad meal. They serve it up hot, timely and plentiful… in a friendly manner.
When Fall/​Winter come around and you want a good hot fulfilling bowl of soup you must try the House Special Soup. It has a great tasting light broth and it’s filled with fresh vegetables, shrimp, and chicken. It’s perfect food on a cold day.

Pretty good as far as take out chinese. We’ve only had the mongolian chicken, spicy garlic chicken and hot and sour soup. The chicken is white meat and tastes fresh. The mongolian chicken was good, not overly sweet like a lot of places and the spicy garlic chicken was pretty good too. Great hot and sour soup. Would eat there again.

This place has gone WAY downhill. We have been going to this place since it opened and have always loved the food. Our last two visits not so much. The fist bad experience our food was burned… totally inedible. We said we would never go back but decided everyone has a bad day. Tried it again yesterday and the quality just isn’t there anymore. Ribs were so tough you couldn’t even eat them. It’s sad we loved this place. Maybe they can pull it together again.

This is our «go to» Chinese take out. The staff is always helpful. Since it is a family business, they often have their kids help — they are great.
Portions are very generous and steaming hot. The wonton soup is overflowing with wontons in a well seasoned broth. Entres are flavorful and well prepared.
I haven’t had a bad item yet.

Wow! I’m the first reviews!
I love this place. Probably order about twice a month. I’m pretty simple: Chicken with Mixed Vegetable or the occasional General Tso. It’s always good, always consistent. The combination portions are huge and include an egg roll. Great value.
I believe they are JUST starting delivery for a pretty small local area.
