Great little local coffee shop. The iced coffee and Americano is great. Whenever we go in, they are able to make our children some kind of caffeine free vanilla frapuccino type drink.

I must say that I was really disappointed. I came in with expectations that may have been too high. The atmosphere is very clinical. It seems they may be renovating? So perhaps that has something to do with it. The music is too loud … And when I was there people with a lot of children running around were there at the same time, making it not a super conducive place to work. However, I can live with that if the product is excellent. While I do rank this better than a Starbucks … This is not super high quality coffee. I ordered a pour over. It had sour, over-ripe fruit tones to it. It wasn’t good. The coffee was either made with poor quality/old beans, or was not brewed properly. It was also served in a paper cup. When I asked for a ceramic mug, I was told«we are cleaning up and can’t give you one right now». There were white ceramic mugs sitting behind the counter. Sorry … If I pay $ 3.60 for a cup of black coffee, I at least want it in a mug(well, that and for it not to remind me of sour fruit) So I left the loud music, the children with my paper cup of mediocre(at best) and expensive coffee. Probably will not be back. Didn’t finish my cup of coffee either. Disappointment, indeed.

My kids & I love their baked goods: homemade lemon and butter cookies, as well as their marshmallow treats are the best. Hot cocoa is a treat on cold days. They actually have delicious chicken salad sandwiches and salads too! It’s interconnected with AudioIntersection(they install audio) so it has a cool, techie, ambiance feel because the music sounds so good.

This place is great. Really nice and unexpected. They have so many reasonably priced options. I wish they had some healthy options as well as some vegetarian options too. But Loved the coffee. They even had 1000 faces. The shop is huge and has tons of room to study, read, and relax. They even have a few huge sectionals that you can lounge on. Who would have thought there was a gem like this in old Canton city center? Only problem is that the music is way too loud in there to get work done. I wish they would tone it down a bit.

Pete and his crew make a fantastic cup of coffee. Coming here has become a weekend ritual for my wife and I. Pete was nice enough to put on cartoons to entertain our little minions when we came in during a slow day.

My husband made a stop in Cup Up one night after dinner right before they were closing, completely not reazling they were about to close. I know that it is a royal pain to have ‘that customer’ come in after everything is put away BUT the owner was so personable and accomodating! He was so helpful in helping my husband and I order something suited to our tastes. I don’t remember the name of what I had ordered but it was some honey, espresso, decliciousness that I fantasize about daily. This place can teach Starbucks a thing or hundred…

Such a great place to hang out and enjoy true gourmet coffee(or other drink/pastry). Small town feel and charm. Tons of room with tables, chairs and comfy couches. Be sure to have Peter create his coffee choice for you, you will be so happy you did!

Came here for the first time today. Looks like just a coffee shop from the outside but the sign out front said that they have a new menu so we came inside to see what kind of food they had. The owner was working and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and explained all of the sandwiches, wraps, cookies and brownies to us. I ordered«The Barnyard» sandwich. It is an egg salad sandwich with a slice of ham, a slice of cheese and some spinach on some very soft bread. My son ordered«The Feisty Chicken» sandwich. It is a tarragon chicken salad sandwich with fresh sliced apples and Craisins in it. I was skeptical on the barnyard but it was absolutely delicious and my son loved his chicken salad sandwich. It is a very relaxing atmosphere. They have big-screen TVs and couches as well as tables of all shapes and sizes to accommodate any size party. They also have the coffee bar where you can sit and chat with the person working. They have an extensive menu of teas, coffees, frappé’s. Everything is homemade and very good. We also had the rocky road brownie and the pumpkin cookies. Both were delicious. I highly recommend this place. It is relatively new. I heard him tell another patron that they only opened a few months ago. Great little place. I will definitely come back!

Hot damn! Custom drip coffee in the ex-urbs! Big room to hang out and drink coffee! You can get a nice simple cup of very good drip coffee, or if you’re a coffee snob like me, an aeropress, french press, chemex, or clever drip. Espresso drinks are made by an excellent barista who has his own blend of espresso beans. I look forward to another trip!

The best cup of coffee I have had in quite some time. I was very impressed with the options, setting and owner. No more Starbucks for me.

When K and I went to Downtown Canton First Friday this afternoon she pointed out a coffee shop. I looked around and said«Where?» two or three times before I saw the small signage and realized it was inside an audio store. We went over and looked in the window. Yup, a coffee shop. On the right side of the store were three large-screen TVs and accompanying sofas and chairs with an «AUDIOINTERSECTION» glowing sign on the back wall. There was nothing else that seemed to be related to electronics, so that was odd. To the left was the CupUp coffee shop in the front and in the back what looked like a tiny version of the Apple genius bar which I assume is related to the audio portion of the store. Also, despite the CupUp signage on the door, there was a sign on the wall behind the bar that said«Canton Coffee Company»; a look around on Unilocal shows that CCC is a closed business that used to be located half a block away on Marietta Street. Odd. Shaking off the cognitive dissonance of two utterly unrelated businesses sharing a common sales floor and the mixed coffee shop identity, I checked out the menu. I ordered a café vanilla frappé(the better to compare with my favorite Starbucks drink) and greatly enjoyed it. The flavor was distinct from frappucinos, but enjoyable. It reminded me of Peet’s Coffee ‘freddos’…only good. They also sell food(wraps, salads, scones and other desserts). K and I prefer organic/whole/clean food, though that is hard to find when dining out. When we asked about if these were processed foods made elsewhere, the friendly barista told us they are made on site. He said that all of the desserts(we didn’t ask about the wraps or salads) are locally sourced and that there are no preservatives and use real butter, sugar, and other ingredients. We have no way to verify that, but he seemed sincere so we picked a scone for K and a cranberry/oat/walnut cookie for me. K tried the cookie but wasn’t a fan; I liked it very much! She’s not yet tried the scone so that will have to wait for another day. If we find ourselves back in downtown Canton-and we will-CupUp will have my custom.

This is a great little coffee shop located inside audio intersection. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about coffee. Very hip spot. My drink was delicious. Easy walk from the courthouse. I plan to make this part of every Canton trip from now on.
