We purchased a brand new home along with a brand new washer and dryer. After 6 months of use the dryer was taking 2 – 3 cycles to dry a load of clothing and we knew something was wrong.
Larry from Dryer Vent Wizard came out and quickly figured out the builder had used a vend cover that prevented birds from getting in but also prevented lint from getting out. It was completely plugged at the end of our vent and after he removed the blockage, and put an appropriate pest proof vent cover on, our clothes were drying in 20 minutes!
Highly recommend you call this company for dryer vent issues!

Larry from Dryer Vent Wizard was efficient and professional. He performed an inspection and gave me an honest recommendation on whether or not the dryer vent needed cleaning — it was in good shape, but I decided to have it cleaned regardless. The total cost (inspection + cleaning) was under $ 200. Some places I called would only clean the dryer vent if I paid to have the air vents cleaned too — that was not an issue with Dryer Vent Wizard.
