Just an exceptional experience. Molly was our server, she couldn’t have been better. Our second time here and it’s a wonderful experience. The food quality, taste and presentation are just terrific.

Gervasi is a complete asset to Stark County. I had been a number of years ago for lunch or small plates and wine. I took my mom out for her birthday. We both had wine flights and all of the wines(we tasted each other’s too) were delicious. For dinner my mom had the short ribs and she said they were the best she’s ever had! I had the strip steak. Not only was it perfectly cooked(it seems most places undercook), the flavor was phenomenal. The steak was served with carrots, parmesan mashed potatoes, and a horseradish mousse. Spot on. the flavors all complimented each other terrifically. It’s a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it. And, of course, there are more reasonably priced items on the menu. If you haven’t been, you should go. My recommendation for wines are Piove and Dolce Sera.

Dined at both the Bistro and Crush when we stayed there. We had a party of 8 and everyone loved their food and wine. The atmosphere and staff were top notch. You cannot go wrong!

Gervasi was the perfect spot for a family reunion with groups from Pennsylvania, Illinois and Georgia. We stayed in one of the amazing Villas. We had the Villa to ourselves and we loved the gathering room for getting together! The rooms are first class accommodations and a fresh pastry box delivered in the morning for breakfast. We had all of our meals in the Gervasi restaurants and the food was INCREDIBLE as was the wine and the service. Love this place — a slice of luxury in Canton Ohio.

Gervasi is the gem of NE Ohio. I step inside and feel like I’ve teleported to Tuscany. The furniture, décor and architecture screams luxury. Whoever owns this place didn’t spare a nickel. It is hands down luxury. I ran the«run now, wine later» race that started and finished at the winery, so we made revs to dine at the bistro post-race. I was so impressed with everything the bistro had to offer. The space itself was beautiful, food was delicious and prices were fair. Be sure to make a reservation! I absolutely cannot wait to come back here and bring friends/family. Gervasi is the perfect little oasis!

The building is impressive in the scale but the food was mediocre at best and at worst it was overcooked and the gelato was freezer burned. If you cut the cost in half then I could recommend it as an alternative to Applebees in a nicer building buuuuttttt, then again I would never recommend Applebees in the first place so maybe you just shouldn’t go to either one.

My wife and I’ve done two weekend get always here for our anniversary. First, the grounds are amazing. I’ve been to Napa and Sonoma twice and the grounds rival some of the best wineries there. Once you are on campus, you feel like you could be anywhere but NE Ohio. They are that spectacular. On a warm fall day with full sunshine, I’d guess Tuscany or Napa if I didn’t know better. Second, the guest rooms are equally amazing. The first year we stayed in the two floor suite and had in room massages. Second year we got a standard room. The furniture, décor, architecture, and build quality screams nothing but luxury. Whoever owns this place didn’t spare a nickel. It is hands down luxury. Their biggest weakness is restaurant food quality. Not that it’s awful, but I’ve dined at Thomas Keller restaurants, restaurants in NYC, and some excellent restaurants in NE Ohio. I know good food and their food is good but not great. It’s probably great for Canton standards, but not at par for top end restaurants great. After two days of both of our weekends there, we longed to get off campus and have a great dinner. One we recall years later for its greatness. Unfortunately, that will not happen here. At least not yet. A+ grounds A+ lodging experience A-/B+ food quality/greatness I rated 5 stars because in NE Ohio it has to be visited.

Went there with my friend on her suggestion and I got to tell you… Canton has a nice little gem and with three buildings full of food, fun and trinkets it would be a sin not to plan a dinner if you are in the area. Now note that the main restaurant has a GREAT presentation but the menue is a bit pricey but there are $ 10 personal pizzas that looked YUMMY so that is an option. We were at the wine cellar I think arriving in the middle of happy hour with apps at $ 5.00 so we got the calamari(YUM!!!) wings(alsoYM!) and meatballs(dammit!!! better than mine said the Italian!!!). We went with what I could only define as a flight/sampling of like 8 different wines ranging to lightly sweet white to downright DRY reds… I am not a red dry person but the reds although dry, were very dense with many different notes. That said my friend got a bottle of the nicely balanced whites and we went to the gift shop and enjoyed the offerings they had… Very nice!!!

Came here two years ago for a business meeting and had a glass of wine on the balcony of Crush. Came back two years later for lunch on a Sunday and raised my rating from a 4 star to 5. Food was delicious and staff was amazing. The grounds are beautiful and it was an overall excellent experience. Wish we lived closer so we could come more often.

It has been a long time since we went to this winery. It has certainly grown and is a beautiful setting. In the parking lot there were no directions as to where the tasting room might be found. After walking around awhile, we found out it was in the crush house. Walking over with an employee, he told us all wineries use grapes from California in their wines! We ordered a bottle of wine but the bar tender was not able to focus and after 25 minutes we left without wine. No one around us was getting service and had to continually ask for what they wanted. The couple next had finished their glass of wine when they learned that the appetizer order had not been turned in. Update! Although we have not been back, we have had communications with a manager who has taken steps to insure this won’t happen again.

I recently booked the Pavilion for a 2017 wedding, and decided to take some out-of-town family to the Bistro this weekend to taste the food beforehand and to take a tour of the grounds. It was also my first time eating there. Between the four of us, we ordered a wine flight, the rainbow trout entrée, duck confit pizza, and lamb with gnocchi entrée. Everything was well-seasoned and properly cooked(no overcooked and chewy fish or lamb!). I especially enjoyed the red bell pepper purée with the rainbow trout and the buttery, pillowy gnocchi with the rainbow trout and the lamb. Only area that I thought needed improvement was the duck confit pizza; the crust could have been more airy and light. What really stood out was our waitress. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding the wine list and the menu, and was happy to provide recommendations in the face of my incessant questions. And when she heard that I was having a wedding there in the future, she even brought out complimentary gelato as a congratulations! I wanted to impress our out-of-town guests, and the service, food, and ambiance definitely delivered. I am now even more excited about having chosen Gervasi as our wedding venue.

Gervasi was a great getaway not far from home. My wife and I stayed here for a day and it was great. The staff was friendly and the property is beautifully scenic and very well maintained. We stayed in Villa Sorrento, which was fantastic. The villas have about four individual suites with a shared common area. The suites were beautiful, clean, spacious, with a seating area and a roomy bathroom. We made reservations and ate at the Bistro, which was also an impressive atmosphere in Tuscan décor. The food was only ok, which was our only draw back. Although I know others who have enjoyed their dishes the times that they have went here… our dishes were cooked perfect but had very little flavor. That being said, we could have just had an off night. We still enjoyed our stay here very much. All in all, a great getaway, especially for the area, that I’m sure I’ll be back to.

An absolutely gorgeous destination just north of Canton, Ohio. Lush green grounds, vineyards, several restaurants, a wine bar and shop. Lovely place to stroll, have a light lunch with wine, and just relax. There is a gorgeous wedding venue by the lake and a wonderful villa for overnight trips. We plan to return for a romantic weekend!

Gervasi is truly one of a kind and unlike any winery(or place, for that matter) that I have ever visited. You really do feel as though you have teleported to Europe and are walking around a city in Italy. There are several different places to eat and drink and I really enjoy having all of the different options since when I visit, I make a day trip out of it. I cannot say enough good things. The scenery is beyond gorgeous and relaxing. I love the woodwork of the buildings, the pond with the beautiful swans, the option to play corn holes, the patios, the huge out door fireplace, the market place for a souvenir or two, I could go on and on. There is nothing negative to say about Gervasi. They have the best sangria I have ever tasted and when we ate at the Bistro, I was so impressed with everything it had to offer. The space itself was beautiful, food was delicious and prices were fair. Be sure to make a reservation! I absolutely cannot wait to back here and bring friends/family for weekend trips. I plan on getting one of their adorable villas for a weekend in the Winter and am already looking forward to it! I am SO glad it is only an hour from Cleveland for when I am in need of a relaxing mini getaway.

Gorgeous place. It is definitely a beautiful escape in Northeastern Ohio. This winery in canton is situated on 55 acres with beautiful vineyards, tuscan inspired villas, and serene pond. There are two major restaurants. The Bistro had a more expansive menu than the Crush House. The wine tastings are 5 – 12 $ offered at the Crush House, where there tours till 3pm and there are tours of the vineyard as well. The Bistro feels like upscale lodge. The three villas have 4 bedrooms that can be rented by room or villa. This is a perfect weekend getaway or even a luxurious day trip.

This place is breathtaking! Attended a wedding here at the pavilion and it was such a beautiful wedding. The grounds are amazing, the service was out of this world and the food was so delicious. Highly recommend visiting this place. The villas are so spacious and comforting. We will definitely return.

I’m usually not a big fan of Italian food in general, so I was a little hesitant to come here for a friend’s birthday. I’m glad we did! The restaurant is beautiful and grand, and(«romantically») dimly lit. I felt out of place in such a fancy establishment,(being unable to pronounce anything on the wine list added to the feeling), but the waitress was incredibly helpful and friendly, so it didn’t take long for me to be comfortable. The meatballs were the best meatballs I have ever had in my life. I don’t even like pasta, but I like their pasta. I was so excited to eat my leftovers for lunch the next day… good even when cold and eaten in the passenger seat. Definitely go for the wine tasting! A lot of fun, and educational. ;)

With gift card in hand, my friend and I decided to check out Gervasi again. We called last minute to make a reservation and they were completely booked, but luckily they had a table available right when they opened. This time we checked out the Bistro Restaurant and were seated downstairs in what was made to look like a wine cellar. We decided to get a bunch of plates to share that way we could sample a variety of Gervasi’s offerings. As we were celebrating a pregnancy no wine was consumed on this visit. Now on to the food… Corn Soup — This was really delicious! So much so that I scrapped the bowl with my bread. Smoked Gouda Pierogies — These were pretty tasty as well. Only four of them though. BBQ Maiale — Disappointing. Seemed like a lot of pizza crust and not enough sauce. Tuscan Beef Short Ribs — Very good. The meat melted in your mouth; everything worked well together and tasted great. Roasted Broccoli — Disappointing. I thought the broccoli was hard and the dough under cooked. Gnocchi Sorrento — This was okay, not outstanding, but not bad either. Hazelnut Brownies — This was just okay as well. Enjoyed the caramel center that oozed out of the brownies. We took a walk around and the scenery was beautiful, just be prepared for a large crowd of people. Had a busy country club feel to it. Overall we had a much better experience this time at Gervasi and I am glad I gave them a second shot. I would rate them a 3.5, but since the waiter did an excellent job I upped it to 4 stars. I would like to come back and check out this wine and food pairing experience I have heard about(and have some more of that corn soup!)
