Grapes In a Glass

Awesome wine and craft beer selections and live music! Grapes in a Glass is a super cool place to hang out and drink some vino. Owner and sommelier Tamra Jorgensen is a wonderful hostess and teacher of all things wine. You won’t be disappointed! Easy parking at the corner of Market and 4^th, just north of downtown Canton.

I don’t visit downtown canton that much, so when I do I try to make the most of it. When I first heard about grapes in a glass I was intrigued and wondered if the area could suppose such a place.
I was pleased with nearly my whole experience. A clean, quiet, art-​driven ambiance makes for a good date spot. The art on the walls are mostly all for sale and I saw many that I actually liked. As you can imagine this is a wine spot, but they have a really impressive beer list as well (all bottled, however). They serve cocktails with a decent spirit selection as well as a small selection of meats and cheeses to snack on.
So why not a full 5 stars? Well, simply for me it was the price. My wife and I each got a flight of wine (3−2oz pours) and a plate of meat/​cheese/​olives and with tip our bill was $ 42. Seemed a bit steep for what we got, but it didn’t sour my experience that much. Grapes and a glass still makes for a fun night out with a more adult-​like environment.

A fantastic addition to downtown canton! Intimate, with a cool vibe. We had a fantastic tasting… chosen by our wonderful bartender Ned. We told him what we liked, and he selected the perfect wines. Such a great experience here. It’s been awhile since we’ve been home, and this place is on our list of definite to-​dos. We hope Ned is still pouring!

This place is fun, quaint, and has a great wine selection. There is live music on Saturday nights, and fun little events all the time.
I’m not a huge wine guy and I was happy to find a decent craft beer selection. A lot of popular brands like Brooklyn, Deschutes and others. Nothing too geeky, and they carry seasonals as well so expect rotation.
As far as wine goes, my wife, who is a wine lover, really thought the selections was great. Everybody seemed very educated on what the establishment has to offer. And if there is a question one of the servers can’t answer then the owner didn’t seem very far away and she was there to help.
All in all it seem top notch and consistent. Thanks!

What an amazing space for a wine bar. When I walked into the building for the first time I felt like I wasn’t in Canton anymore. I felt like I was on a tropical island. Amazing artwork surrounded me and a really good vibe to this place embraced me. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about all the wines and drinks. Picked out a perfect white wine for me. This is an upscale place so don’t be surprised with the higher prices, it’s well worth it. The owner is really fun and made me feel welcome like everyone does on a tropical island. I will be back for more!
