I ordered flowers to send to my best friend whose mother passed away, I ordered through 1800flowers and this was the florist tasked with the delivery. They promised same day service and when I went to the 1800flowers website to track the delivery, it stated delivery was attempted at 5:47pm CST. I texted my friends wife and she said they didn’t leave the house until after 6:00pm to go to relatives for dinner. No big deal these things happen. However, no attempt whatsoever was made to deliver the flowers the next day. I contacted 1800flowers again, they tell me the florist will deliver the next day, which they did, I called to check and my friend said they delivered the flowers around 10:00am, the card had been opened and the tips of the roses were a little brown. She thinks they delivered the flowers to the wrong house the first time. So, the flowers are now two days late and they didn’t even bother to put fresh flowers in the arrangement. I must say 1800flowers apologized profusely and sent coupons to make up for the fiasco. That however doesn’t alleviate Hamlin Florist from their lack of customer service. Hopefully 1800flowers will remove them from their network of florists.
