Harvard Square Cleaners

My friend recommended Harvard Square for dress alterations. She has brought clothing here several times and told me she has always had a good experience.
I brought my bridesmaid dress here recently for alterations. The interior is quite small with a curtained area to change. I only interacted with one staff member who checked the fit and also did the alterations. She was friendly, though she made me nervous as she did not use any pins or notes to mark changes.
I gave four stars as I had to go back a second time as the top was still a bit big. It was a fitted top, so much of the complication was due to the dress and the way it was made. In the end, the alterations were great, the dress now fits, and I was charged $ 35. I do not think I could find a better price anywhere. I would recommend HSC to others for alterations.
As the name indicates, they also do dry cleaning. They have signs posted that they offer services for hard to clean items that include wedding dresses and winter boots.
