Holiday Inn Express & Suites Canton

Room was clean bed was ok not the best but definitely not the worst. The pool was disgusting. We checked in on Monday I asked about the pool was told it is nice. No chlorine tadpoles swimming. I complained manager told me pool was serviced on Monday. There is no way. Will not stay here again. Elevator had bad smell the whole week.

Smells like Indian food and Play-​Doh. I know parts of the hotel are smoking but this is just funky.
Nowhere else to stay with the fair in town (I’m here for business) but probably won’t be back. Tried here after Hampton Inn up the road disappointed me with faulty air-​conditioning and general dirtiness. This isn’t much better but I don’t expect much in this part of this state.
Can’t wait to go home where I don’t feel like wearing shoes to bed.

Room was super clean! Bed so comfy! Staff was polite. Had an omelette and sausage gravy for breakfast. Was tasty. I was the only guest there when I checked in I think. Only car in the lot.

I have stayed here a few times a yr since the hotel opened however that will not be happening again! I book more than most non corporate clients yet I was just spoken down two TWICE by the manager for not being appreciative for accepting a comp on non air conditioned rooms. I was originally told the reason I could not check early was our rooms were not clean, that was a lie! No one stays in an unairconditioned room in the South. The reason I was not allowed to check in was because I would have noticed the air conditioning did not work and the heavy smoke smell before the corporate clients came. (I’ve seen none of them in the lobby). I have always considered the people who work here very polite however I do feel slighted as my entire group were all placed in either smokey, non-​air conditioned rooms, or both, when no other patrons had any of these problems. Stay here if you want but as for me and my crew, we will not!

Stayed there once. The room was clean, well-​appointed, and comfortable. Bed was comfortable, and HVAC was very good. TV and channel choices were very good. Complimentry breakfast was sysco, but was not prepared well — overcooked and cold.
