Honey Dew Donuts

Yikes. Besides one good review, I do not understand the way others feel about this incredible, non-​busy coffee & donut shop on Neponset Street!
This is a Honey Dew Donuts, a better version of busy Dunkin Donuts. There are 3 in Canton, yet this is the only Drive-​Thru location, as well as the closest to my house. Plus, who would go to the location on Washington Street if there is a Dunkin with a drive thru right next door, while this location is actually useful.
Anyway, I love that no one is ever actually here. The parking lot is normally rather empty, and their isn’t ever a long line (or any line, for that matter) at the drive thru. Getting in and out isn’t a problem, as I’m taking Neponset St south towards Norwood, so I’m turning right out of the exit, turning left is more difficult.
As for the staff, the two people working today both were fine, making orders correctly, and not forgetting anything (including my receipt), as well as being very efficient.
I ordered a bagel, with cream cheese, and is was great, as most at HDD locations (and Dunkins too).
Overall, great experience and I would have no issue returning.

the absolute WORST. being a commuter like a lot of other people, time is of the essence in this morning, and if thats the case for you STAY AWAY from here in the morning. there were TWO people in line (me being one of them) and it took 15 minutes to get my order… which was all wrong. I said my order at speaker, had to say it AGAIN at window while the girl starts walking away before I could finish. Good thing my egg sandwhich was okay, bad thing is it was wrong. These people have got to get it together if their dealing with tired people in the morning who just want their morning coffee and breakfast. Someone needs to go in their and straighten some things out.

I don’t know what happened to this place. The staff used to be on top of everything. Now the staff is outside smoking while 1 person is trying to handle the customers at the window and counter. The next time I went the staff were on their phones behind the counter while we waited in line for help. I have been a regular and loyal customer for many years even though I am closer to Dunkin Donuts. I will not go back.

This honey dew is under new management and the place has taken a turn for the worse. The iced coffee I received this morning was horrible. The person who took my money kept the change. I didn’t say anything because I’m not going to quibble over forty cents, but it was a bit presumptuous for him to just keep it. He didn’t even try to hand it back to me. I used to come here all the time, not anymore. I’ll find another honey dew or unfortunately make the switch to dunkin donuts. Sad to see previous management and staff go!

Convenient place to grab a coffee and donut (or other pastry item) … Clean inside with plenty of tables to eat in if that’s your preference. The staff moves fast so you don’t have to wait long for your order, whether in the drive thru or ordering inside. The coffee here isn’t as strong at Starbucks but certainly is not watery or bitter like D&D. Lots of flavors to try… I recently tried and iced cappuccino and it was wicked yummy… Not sweet, and the perfect flavor. Of course no trip to Honey Dew is complete without a blueberry nougat donut… My favorite around!
