I did not actually eat in, but was able to do takeout after hearing great things about this restaurant. Order was placed for a number of people and I specifically ordered chicken pad thai. Food was excellent even for takeout. Everyone had excellent things to say about their food. I have to say the pad thai is one of the best that I’ve had in Ohio. If you like spicy, make sure to ask for it. They also serve great sushi.

Gave the service another try and what do ya know… the extremely rude hostess was there and she did not disappoint with her bad attitude and nasty personality. She is so miserable that even though the food is excellent, I will never return because of her consistently poor service. God forbid you ask her to wait for a booth and not a table. She will unload her wrath on you if you do. Be warned!

This is by far our favorite place in town to go get sushi. Very fresh and reasonable prices. Definitely one of cantons best spots for Asian cuisine.

I imagine«Asian Fusion» to be a combination of Asian cuisines — like a Thai lemongrass sushi roll; this is not that. Instead, it’s a menu with Thai, Chinese, and Japanese dishes on it, so you can dine with someone who wants Chinese when you’re in the mood for pad thai. I had the sashimi regular, and my husband had the tuna and mango salad: all of the fish was fresh and beautifully plated. My husband’s chicken coconut soup was rich and aromatic, and the wasabi and blue cheese olive in his bloody mary had a very strong flavor. The service was good, and the ambiance was nice. Either semi-nice or casual clothes were fine, and everyone from a large family group to couples on dates were there. We would return!

The food is top notch for little old Canton, Ohio. Henry is a gracious host. Some servers aren’t as good as others but I can overlook that when the sushi and entrees are excellent!

A co-worker took me here for sushi. Not disappointed. High quality rice cooked to sticky perfection. The fish and seafood was fresh and sculpted into bite-sized delight. The restaurant seating area has tables and booths, but my favorite seat is at the bar. Classic-style bartender with full menu service. Can watch the game, but the volume is never over-bearing. Perfect for relaxing with some great food and a soul-fortifying drink.

Have been here several times, started to decline in food quality after 1 yr. The soup and salad were removed then the food went down. Had the tso chicken. The after affects keep me up all night. I have always had the tso chicken and this time was the worst. Service is always been top notch. The waitress are the best you could ask for. It will be sometime before going back.

I cannot say enough good things about this spot. The sushi is fantastic, service impeccable, cocktails are delicious and the price is right for all. I have never had a bad experience at Jasmine and the pride the employees show reflect that. So good to find a local eatery that shows personality and passion thru its offerings. Will continue to frequent.

Hidden little gem in Canton. Would have never expected to find such a cool little place with such wonderful food and neat ambiance in this area of Canton. If you want to avoid the chain restaurants in the Belden Village area give this little spot a shot.

Don’t be fooled by the strip mall! Jasmine is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in the Canton area. In my many visits I(and my friends who join me) have never been disappointed with the service or the food. I will admit, I’m not a sushi connoisseur, but my friends are and are always pleased and very excited when I suggest we head to Jasmine for lunch or dinner. There is a wide variety of food on the menu, and I really enjoy the interesting vegetarian sushi options. The peanut avocado roll is not to be missed! I cannot eat miso soup anywhere else now that I’ve had Jasmine’s, though I will admit, sometimes it can be mostly broth. I always forget to ask them to make sure I get more of the good stuff in my soup. I’m sure they would do so if I ask– the service is great! The atmosphere is what I would describe as upscale casual. There are white tablecloths on the tables, but they do have booths too. The décor is very simple and not overdone with tacky try-hard asian décor. It is also worth noting that the owner of the restaurant is frequently there and is very involved with the running of the front and back, from what I can tell. The family who owns the restaurant is Asian, though I’m not sure which country they hail from. I think it’s worth noting, though, because this place is the real deal!

My new favorite appetizer is the chicken satay. Yummy! What is it about the combination of chicken with peanut sauce? I had the beef pad Thai for the first time in my life-I always get chicken and/or shrimp. My dish had lots of red pepper heat. It was tasty although I did not expect pad Thai to be so spicy. Altogether I think I prefer chicken or shrimp. We also had lettuce wraps. The dish had a lot of green pepper oddly enough.

Think you can’t get quality sushi in Canton, OH? Think again my friend! Jasmine’s is the real deal. Why would I be in Canton in the first place you ask? For those of you gridiron die hards like me, you know the Pro Football Hall of Fame resides in this non-descript town about an hour south of Cleveland. Not a whole lot to do in Canton besides the HOF and I figured dining options would be limited. But, following the recommendations of a few other Unilocalers we decided to give Jasmine’s a tryout. She not only made our team but broke into the starting lineup. Don’t let the standard strip mall locale fool you, Jasmine’s is home to creative sushi, current wines and beers and a wide variety of traditional Asian fare served in a pleasant environment inviting for both a casual night out or a romantic dinner. We started with a tuna tartare and a really creative battered and fried whitefish and crab mixture that had a spicy kick right between the uprights! I then called an on-sides kick by choosing a couple of hand rolls rather than the traditional maki, including a spider roll and a spicy yellow tail roll. Both were packed and rolled with authority(I like my sushi rolled as tight as a Dan Marino spiral) and definitely scored a touchdown on my board. They were so good we called for an instant replay when my companion ordered another one. In the second half we ordered a couple of their specialty maki rolls that were creatively wrapped in colorful rice paper rather than the traditional seaweed. Fresh fish, great drinks and friendly service… Jasmines is an All Pro in my book on par with any sushi restaurant I’ve been to in my hometown Chicago. Good game Jasmine’s!

From the outside it looks like a Chinese take out restaurant, but from the inside it feels like a trendy big city local sushi joint. Its not big, and the entire restaurant is just one big rectangle. You could go here on a nice date, with a few friends, or just grab some sushi for lunch. It has great versatility and a cool ambiance. I tried many things when I was here… I won’t review all of them but just a few that stood out. We started with the thai calamari and it was just OK. I liked the calamari itself — it was cooked well and a thin dredge on the outside. But it lacked flavor, on the calamari(especially for being designated«thai») and also in the dipping sauce. For dinner I tried the Dragon and Phoenix. The size of the shrimp for $ 15 was outstanding. Great presentation and not only for this dish but for every dish. The orange chicken that accompanied the shrimp was probably the best I’ve ever had. It had great flavor, but not overpowering orange, and great fresh chicken texture. It was wonderful. They also had a special that night which was the walnut shrimp dish. It was extremely good, the caramelized walnuts paired with the shrimp sauce really was special. If they have that on special, I highly recommend trying it. Lastly, the Jasmine Special fried rice might have been the best thing I tried. A big mound of tasty rice with chicken, shrimp and cilantro(which is what made it great I think). It was so tasty… and i suggest ordering this for the table instead of the basic rice that comes with your meal. Amazing. The cocktails were unique and will crafted here as well. They have a drink that serves 4(yes, i got it by myself) which was a great value and really tasty. It has awesome presentation and it tasted like a tropical drink i would have on the beach. Lastly, I do have to mention the service. It was quite slow and our server was not quite up to speed on many of the menu items. Fortunately, it didn’t bother us at the time, but I could see this being a problem if it was a regular thing. I did try some sushi, but I don’t think its fair for me to review it. We got two very basic rolls and I will wait to truly try the sushi at another time. Overall, Jasmines is a wonderful place — maybe the best of its kind in the canton area.

Been here 6 – 7 times and I do appreciate it. For Canton, it should be a 5 star but for NE Ohio I give it 4 stars. I find the sushi to be OK. It is not fantastic like Sakura or Ginko. Any roll with crunch should be avoided because they load it up with crunch to the point it is dry. The sushi portions don’t match up with Wasabi. The Chinese food is pretty great. The cheese flower app is a nice take on crab rangoon with some added apple flavor. I definitely recommend it. The Dragon and Phoenix is a well proportioned dish with different sauces for the chicken and the shrimp. The Jasmine Special fried rice is absolutely awesome with light fluffy rice and crabmeat(imitation unfortunately, but well done anyway), chicken, shrimp(beautiful shrimp), tomato and cilantro. This is pretty nice dish. I wish they would use a nice lump crab and charge $ 2 more, if needed. It would be awesome if someone in Canton would take the leap to really do things top notch and get away from crabsticks. At least Wasabi stocks King Crab so you can request it instead. The lunch Bento boxes are a great value and their General Tso is very nice. Overall, a very solid place and I am glad Canton has it. I would pick Basil over it for Thai but I think it is the best Chinese in Canton, although there are a few sentimental favorite items at Panda Garden.
