Joseph Saxton Gallery of Photography

The Joseph Saxton gallery is phenomenal. I first visited a few years ago when they had the Steve McCurry «Afghan Girl» exhibit, and went back last week to see the Vivian Maier exhibit. The photos in the regular gallery are breathtaking and intriguing, and the Vivian Maier exhibit is definitely worth a trip! I can’t find a closing date for the exhibit on the website, but it’s worth looking into if you enjoy street photography (or even if you just enjoy people). The gallery owner, Tim Belden, is friendly and full of extra information about the artists. The gallery is located in the Canton Arts District, with many other galleries, studios, public art installations, shops, and restaurants in easy walking distance.
